Alright, so i’ve definetely slacked off on this thing.

Haven’t posted in a while, but I’ll be better about it in the future. Hah

This weekend I’m actually doing a kart race at Grange circuit, it should be pretty interesting. I gotta buy a new karting suit for the race, so I’ll post pics up as soon as i get it.

Oh & I gotta run! Time to go get fitted for the kart, so everything’s all good on Saturday.

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the lack of posts. Things have been super crazy for the past couple weeks. To recap everything that has happened recently, we had 2 Formula Drift competitions.

First up was Formula Drift Round 1: Long Beach! This track was amazing, as it’s a street course and very technical. This was my professional debut in my PM Racing/Riceboy TV S14. Going into the event, we had high hopes and expectations and overall I was happy with my performance.

Friday’s Top 32 qualifying round went well, despite a crash during practice and a few minor setbacks. I ended up qualifying 14th, so I really can’t complain about that result. Unfortunately, after qualifying, we had yet another incident with the wall in which i had to avoid an accident with another car. This left me in a wall head on.  The damage was largely in the frontal frame and suspension. After working all night to fix it, we pulled through and made it to Saturday’s competition.

Saturday was another busy day, since I was injured from my crashes and running on 2 hours of sleep. Since the car was back together (for the most part, hah) I went out to practice and thats when we found our next problem. Coming out of turn 9 the gearbox wouldn’t go into 3rd and the clutch began slipping. This ended our weekend early, as I didn’t have time between sessions to change the clutch/gearbox. Despite the crashing and car troubles, I’m still glad that everything happened as it did, because we all learn and grow from events like this.

Oh and next post is gonna be all about Formula Drift’s Team Drift Competition @ the Long Beach Grand Prix! Just give me a little time to run errands and try to fix my car before we leave for ATL on Friday! Hah.

Sadly I really don’t have anything to attach yet, since we just got back from Setup day for Formula Drift Long Beach! But when i get back a little later tonight I’ll post a few shots from today and show everyone our car’s final scheme for 2008!

If you aren’t busy you should all come out tomorrow and support all of us Formula Drift drivers trying to qualify! But of course, you should cheer for me the most.
