February 1st, 2012

Hell yes, I’m coming back drifting in 2012. The goal compete the entire DMCC series & I want to come down to US to try a XDC or SWD events as well :) So for 2012 I’m building a 2008 Ford Mustang with a 2011 5.0 motor swap. The goal is 550whp. Maybe a come back in 2012….

August 14th, 2011

Hey everyone, it’s been a long time not writing here. In 2011 I take a sabbatical year of drifting since I wasn’t able to do a complet DMCC season with my budget. Now it’s time to talk of 2012. We are looking forward to come back stronger & more competitive with a new car since I sold the 350z last year. Not sure about which car we will be running, we are looking with the budget & sponsor interest. I’m happy to do a come back for my fans & drifting fans and we will be able to give a better show than the past year :)

I will keep you post on my 2012 progress. If your interest to help me & sponsor me for 2012, contact me and it will be a pleasure to do business :)

DMCC RD2 + demo

June 29th, 2010

Hello everybody, here a small update of the Drift Demo my team ( Drifters Soldiers) made & friends in a small town call Daveluyville + wrap up of my first competition of the year, DMCC RD2.

So on June 12 it was the first time i was driving the car on a dry & hot tarmac since the testing day the week before was wet. the car ran really good. the combination of the Kumho Tires w/ the KPR Engineering angle kit made so much smoke, at the end of each round the car was pack of smoke :) The only probleme we have was with the power steeting, the fluid came to hot & I was missing the power some times. We make the events like this after each 3-4 laps, we stop in the pits to cool down the p/s fluids. Now time for some pics & vids.watch?v=sd-BqCZkhJs

It was a great day meeting a lot of fan & made new fan. Hope to redo this in 2011 :D :D

Now times to speak about DMCC Rd2 in Quebec, City. What a good week-end that end’s bad :( First was the practice day on Saturday. It was a hot & sunny day. The car felt awesome, the Kumho Tire was really good doing a LOT of smoke on all the track. The 350z with the STD Suspension & SPL Pro Suspension parts is a pleasure to drive. It’s much fun & easier for to drive my 350z than my old S14. now on Sunday when we wake up it’s was sunny, 1hours after the rain came, So on sunday morning practice it,s was wet, cold & bad. We have to change setup for the rain, etc. Later in the day, like 30minutes before qualification, the sun came out & began to dry the track. So all driver ask the series to pull the qualification a little later to put a better show. First run of qualification was dry in the banks & mid-dry/wet in the infield. i made a safe qualification run to be sure to make some point. On the second run it’s was 95% dry, it was time to pull everything out of the LS3 & the Kumho Tire to qualified higher. We made it to the 4th spot of qualification :) Now the top16. I was pair to battle again a good rookie Bob Patanka with is 240sx LS3. On my lead run I was killing it, it was a good run from Patanka. On the chase run, I came higher in the banks so on clipping point 1 at the entry of the infield i cam to fast on Patanka & try to slow time unfortunatly I spin. I was in fury against me…. but life is life & it was the first time I was doing tandem with my new car. Now it’s clear TANDEM PRACTICE is the key before rd3. Now the bad end. After the show i made a smoke show & my crank damper explod & all other pulley explod to + radiator hose, etc. Everything between the motor & the radiator is DIE. I was really disapoint. Now have to check the crank & crank bearing before rd3. I let you with some pics & will keep you update on the engine repair :)

To finish I have to congrulated my parter Dom Desrosiers for his TOP8 finish. Also guy & girl watchout when Dave Briggs will return to the US. He was Killing it. I love this guys, he have the attitude & skill to win :) Briggs I’m your #1 fan :D

Briggs is the blue S14 btw :)

dyno + testing last week

June 7th, 2010

Hello everyone, last week-end was a nice week-end for the team. we came to the Dyno on Saturday morning. We pull 420whp & 460wtq. We have like 360wtq @2500rpm, this is awesome. Maybe the number are low because we were spinning a little on the dyno…. After the dyno was a practice session @ Sanair Speedway. I’m really happy about the car, I feel it great & the response is more than awesome. Thanks to Rene & Michel of LDS Dyno & Walter of Wtech for the tuned. Thanks to Fred & P.O. for the help for this days.

I think some pics will be good for your wrecker :)

Next step, is a Demo next Saturday at a carshow :) will keep you update.

Hello Wrecked Magazine

April 13th, 2010

Hi wrecked family,
my name is Kevin Grenier & I’m from Quebec, Canada. I’m a pro drifter in the DMCC series & I’m always on this site to look at the drifting news, pics, etc. I would like to talk about the Canadian Drifting Scene in the East. I’m drifting since 2005, the first year of DMCC in Canada, but i start interest in drifting in 2003 looking a vids on the net of Chris Forsberg with is Silver 350z in New Jersey. If I,m right, the video was call “Drift Wednesday 7″. I really love drifting & it’s lifestyle, I’m a BIG fan of the Drift Alliance guys. When they come judge us in 2008 they gave us a lot of tricks.

To know more about me, because of lot a person think, that the Pro Driver in Canada have a lot of money………. so this is 100% false. We only, so much love drifting that we put all our money in this sport. I own a small tire center with my family in Trois-Rivieres, Qc. We do general mechanics as well :) I live in appartment with my beautifull wife, & we are looking for a house.

I’m currently building a 350z with a V8 LS3 416ci. The car will push around 450whp/wtq. I would like to thanks my 2010 sponsors to help me: Kumho Tires Canada, STD Suspension, Awside Autosport, KPR Engineering, Forgestar wheels, Trafik Autopro (my shop), SPL Pro Suspension, Wtech tuning, ABProduction oucy Stickers & Caillou Custom Product :) i would like to thanks my awesome team: Frederic Vallee, Mathieu Filiatreault, Pierre-Olivier St-Amant, J-Seb Lafleur, L-M Leblanc & Yan Mainville.

I will update my blog the more i can to show you the progress of the Canadian Drifters & hope to meet some of the American Drifters sideways this summer :)

To finish I would like to say a big congrulation to my good friends Dave Briggs for is awesome job at the XDC rd1 :) )
