Here is the start of our trip back in Atlanta, Georgia meeting up with old friends and doing a photo-shoot. All these photos were shot by Ricky Cervantes with his iPhone 4.

Here is the car’s plaque between the two seats marking this NIsmo 370z as #702.

Before leaving Atlanta, Georgia we stopped at Daddy D’z BBQ just south of downtown. This is the best place to eat BBQ in the south by far. After eating here we hopped on I-20 and started our trip to Los Angeles.

Here is an American Flag in Mississippi just before sunset on future I-22 corridor heading towards Tunica, Mississippi. This interstate once completed will run from Memphis, Tennessee to Birmingham, Alabama and it is always empty when traveling.

Here is the Nismo 370z sitting at Harrah’s in Tunica, Mississippi. This was our shortest drive of the trip.

Here is a snapshot of the gauge cluster after our first night on the road. We managed to just break the 1,000 mile mark before calling it quits.

Here we are in Arkansas taking a break from driving on Day 2.

As night fell we rolled in to western Oklahoma and kept driving through the night into Texas.

Somewhere in New Mexico we found this $19,999 stuffed buffalo for sale in a gas station.

Here was a shot of our comfortable interior and the lack of view out the back of the Nismo Z.

Our final dinner on Day 3 we stopped at the New Jersey Pizza Company in Flagstaff, Arizona. If your ever traveling across I-40 this is a fantastic place to eat not very far off the interstate. Another couple hours on the road after dinner and we wound up pulling into our driveway just after 12:00am.

Jon from Maisto Toys was kind enough to deliver us a huge pile of them the other day and I wanted to show off the ones I really liked for my toy shelf. The first toy I checked out was this 1:18 Nissan GT-R in the factory white pearl color.

The second toy was a yellow C5 Corvette Z06 which was from the “Assembly Line” toys. These are a blast and you can put together with a simple screw driver they provide in box. This one was much harder than the Mercedes-Benz CLK GT-R I built recently because the rear window/roof/windshield/engine are all one piece you clip in. You even get an option of wheels to install and I went with the chrome factory style Z06 wheels.

My favorite car of the lot was this 1:18 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren which I reviewed over at Luxuryvice.com. This is by far the most amazing car ever built (and I want one really bad) and the diecast really captures the true essence of this car. These will all be finding a new home on the toy shelf soon and I might have to buy another shelf fairly soon.

Wimbledon got started today and DirecTV has court cameras now to watch all the matches! I have been quite on the tennis kick lately and really started playing again with some PM Lifestyle employee’s and other various friends. It looks like a great line up is in store, especially on the woman’s side.
I will be cheering on Maria Sharapova in the series. Ever since her shoulder injury she hasn’t been 100% but I have some high hopes for her over this tournament. She made it into the third round earlier this year at the French Open so hopefully she can do better. She is playing lucky loser Anastasia Pivovarova in the first round who is a fellow Russian. Maria enters Wimbledon as the 16th seed for women.
On the men’s side I have to be rooting for Roger Federer who I think has about 8/5 odds on winning. He is ranked number one in the world right now for men. I really want to root on someone who has more of a challenge making it to the finals but I cannot really bring myself to get behind and support anybody else on the guys side.

Who needs free speech in the Internet? A few months ago I mentioned that the second district court is holding people accountable for what you say in comments of posts. Now Senator Joe Lieberman is trying to pass the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act (PCNAA). Instead of writing all about it I pulled in some information from Switched. It’s quite a shame and hopefully we stand up for our protection from government censorship.
Connecticut Senator, and chairman of the Homeland Security committee, Joseph Lieberman introduced legislation last week that would grant broad new emergency powers over the Internet to the federal government. The Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act (PCNAA) would require broadband providers, search engines, and software companies to comply with emergency orders issued by the Department of Homeland Security under penalty of fine.

Last night there was a great open house at the ID Agency in DTLA. I had some photos featured in the art gallery along with Estevan Oriol and Mo Satarzadeh. All three of us were on the 2009 Gumball 3000 rally and had some photos featured from it along with some of our other photography.

Here is a display of my photography hung up on the wall.

Here is the DJ with a great crowd going behind him at the Open House. Mo’s photography is stage left and you can see my Vaughn Gittin Jr. print over on the right.

Here is a close up of my T-Pain photograph I took years ago at his house next to Vaughn Gittin’s 2005 Sonoma drifting picture.

Here I am receiving Ricky’s special beer delivery. Not only is Ricky great at beer delivery he is an excellent photographer that does tons of work for Wrecked Magazine! The Corona was for him and the Bud Light was for me. It ended up being a great night and I really appreciate all the support of people who came out. Thanks to Bob Hernandez for these photos he put up on Facebook and I will make new posts when other people send me or put up some photographs.

First off a huge thanks to ID Agency for having this automotive photo exhibit. I only selected one drifting photograph for my gallery since we have limited space but it’s one of my favorite drifting photos of all time. The photograph is from the 2005 Formula Drift Sonoma event and features Vaughn Gittin Jr. drifting his Falken Tire Ford Mustang. This was only his fourth event ever in the car if I recall correctly.

Check out a high resolution version of Vaughn Gittin Jr. Ford Mustang
More updates this weekend after the photo gallery. I will also have a few photos from my 2009 Gumball 3000 journey which took us from Santa Monica Pier in California to Miami Beach, Florida.
Here is some info on the other photographers featured:
Estevan Oriol
Mo Satarzadeh
And lastly a huge thanks to ID Agency for having us at their venue!

So I wanted to show off a few items that I would love if you picked me up for my birthday at the end of March.
1. This gold plated AK-47 from Versace.

2. Some items seized by Mexican Drug Lords…….I am sure you can find these items at one of those estate/seized property sales.

“All organizations are hierarchical. At each level people serve under those above them. An organization is therefore a structured institution. If it is not structured, it is a mob. Mobs do not get things done, they destroy things.”

Before this website I use to be really good at life blogging and lately I am just way to busy to get around to it. So last Thursday I had a really full day so I made sure to document it for the blog. The first photo above is Lucky who is my roommates cat. He is quite a character and greeted me before I left in the morning with him in the “play dead” position. Funny story actually is that the cat use to belong to Daijiro Yoshihara.

I headed down to Orange County for the first leg of my day and off Highway 55 there happens to be a Chick-Fil-A which I grabbed some breakfast at. They only have a few of these in California so when I am near one it’s a must for breakfast.

I saw this 1957 Porsche Carrera on Highway 55 heading to Hyundai. This thing looked flawless and was well maintained and cared for by the owner. It had a great sound to it as he flew by me down the highway.

My first stop was Hyundai North America to pick up some Genesis seats. Miles was a great help finding some seats for a new project we are doing. We will have more on project coming to the website soon.

I had to drop off my Mercedes carburetor to get rebuilt since it has been having some issues after it idles for a few minutes. In the parking lot is a red Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black that looked fantastic. A white M3 was also in the corner of the parking lot when I swung by.

After dropping off the Mercedes parts in Orange County I headed up to Manhattan Beach to shoot some Wrecked Magazine voice overs. Peter from Modified Magazine lives at the apartment we were recording at and had this nostalgic Super Street Magazine cover hanging in the dining room.

Nik did an awesome job with our Wrecked Magazine voice overs. She is the voice of a tutorial we are releasing later this month. This second photo is Nik engrossed in deep thought about her favorite Formula Drift driver Rhys Millen.

After dropping off Nik and heading into Downtown Los Angeles I found some traffic of course.

Here I am crossing the Sixth Street Bridge heading into Los Angeles. This bridge is always empty and has a distinct look and feel that I just love as you drive into downtown.

Coming off the Sixth Street bridge you get a great view of Downtown Los Angeles. It’s also not very often you see clouds around Los Angeles so I really liked this shot.

Sitting on a desk when I walked in to my meeting was a Forza Motorsport 3 Xbox 360. Very few of these were made and it features an Audi R8 and a carbon fiber styled front.

I also scored two gifts while visiting including Halo 3 ODST and a Snoop Dog x Famous Stars Straps 10 Year Anniversary Party t-shirt. The photograph of Snoop Dog was shot by Estevan Oriol.

The last shot comes from the ID Agency where some awesome classic cars are sitting right now. My favorite is this blue Chevrolet truck you can see in this shot. After leaving here it was off to home in lots of traffic.
