No More Stupid SPAM on Wrecked

Sorry about this problem guys but we kept thinking it was fixed and it just kept coming back. You will notice a change in how our comment system works which sadly is the only way we could fix this issue. Once you have posted your first comment with name/e-mail and it has been approved all of your other comments will be approved on the system. Sorry for the inconvenience and all the annoying SPAM that went through while we figured out how to fix this. Enjoy Wrecked Magazine!
We have this same problem at jerseystreets. What blog software are you running here?
If you’re using WP, Akismet plugin should get most of it. We use it on Death Machines and I’d say it catches 99% of SPAM comments – but it’s still a pain!
We are running WordPress.
@MARS we run that as well but progressively as the site has grown we have more SPAM passing through.
I hear you – SPAM sucks!!
