Bob from Urban Racer invited me to come out to a Mazda event at this crazy futuristic green gas station in Los Angeles. The event with MazdaSpeed and BP was about the future of fuel and most importantly a focus on Bio-Butanol. Here is a sign they have in the corner of the BP Station.
The event was very exciting and informative. Even Patrick Dempsey showed up in his Porsche GT3 RS to find out what was going on. Bob put together a great story on Urbanracer.com about the event. Go on over and check it out.
So this weekend we swung by a Drifting event at Turner Field but before that we got together and played some racquetball round robin action. Luckily I have a court in my building so we got together and ripped it up! We filmed a few rounds and I wanted to share some of the better videos from the event.
I am a Pinkberry convert to YougartLand. Pinkberry was a must stop for me on trips to the LA area. YougartLand is way better and the price point is spot on. You pay 30 cents an ounce for any toppings you would like and any variety of twelve flavors you can pick. How can you go wrong with that?
The decor and trendiness of this place is very cool and relaxed but it’s not so overbearing it gets in your way or annoys you as most new “cool” places seem to do. It’s basically an a la carte vending machine version of all the other yogurt places you have ever been inside. You just fill up with whatever flavors you want (plain tart is my favorite) and then make your way to the toppings. They have a variety of fresh fruits and assorted goodies like Lucky Charms for your mix-in choices. Unlimited toppings and flavors that you put in your bowl and no matter what you have selected you just shell out the .30 cents an ounce and your good to go. What an amazing and simple concept! Are you paying attention Cold Stone, Pinkberry, etc…. because if not, you should be. This place is your bankruptcy ticket if they go national.

This video is a great reason why I am going to stick to watching TV on the Internet. Hulu is good enough for me! I have never watched the Spike Feresten show but this skit is great. In 2009 all televisions will convert to digital, ABOUT time. I cannot wait for all the people who will be calling Comcast to inform them that they are no longer receiving television.
Forget about real television already! Tune into Hulu or you can catch most new prime time shows at the respective sites like CW, ABC, NBC and etc…..
What a great concert last evening. I was going to post up some great stories and make fun of the band before Girl Talk because the video backgroudns they used were from Myspace but forget it. The concert was a blast and he did the sickest remix to Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit I have ever heard. Check out more action on my Flickr account.
Here is a photo gallery from my trip to Los Angeles for Irwindale. This gallery includes everything that went on aside from the at track events of Irwindale Speedway. Just a quick gallery including a stop by a Mazda event on Olympic/Robertson in downtown Los Angeles which had that amazing parking sign I photographed above. Needless to say I was parked on the street feeding the meter, no good free parking spot for me.
Jasper from Rogue Status sent us a box of goodies for the fall. I was pumped to get some new clothes for the fall season and we even got some girls clothes for some shoots coming up soon in our lifestyle section so keep an eye out for that! Thanks guys.
The guys at Theory PR sent us some NOS Powershots for our SEMA Survival Kits that will be shipping out next week. We really appreciated the support so we can place our sponsored product inside the kits we are shipping out next week.
A new product from the NOS Energy Drink line is the grape NOS powershot. You should be able to find it in stores nationwide soon and it tastes fantastic. It almost has more of a berry flavor than grape and it’s a great flavor alternative to the regular NOS powershot. Make sure to pick one up and sample it when you see one in stores.
If you will be at Formula D Irwindale this weekend then please tag your twitter posts with #formulad (without a space). If you use this tag it will be picked up by our live feed and you can contribute to all the action we will be going over for the people who cannot make it around the world. If you cannot make it to Irwindale, you can watch the live updates from the Wrecked Magazine staff and fans by hitting the chat page.
Check this gallery out I put together from my SMX trip to New York City. I had a blast over the last few days and have some really cool pictures from the whole trip. I stayed right at 43rd and 8th Ave. which is the heart of the Hell’s Kitchen/Theater District. I had a ton of fun walking around at night and just exploring the big city. Don’t forget to view the whole gallery on my Flickr account and make sure to add me as a friend.
Well I survived Monday of the Search Marketing Expo in New York City and I reviewed the three big sessions I attended. Later on the PM Lifestyle site I will be reviewing some great non session things I have been doing after the conference. The two big things of day one were what is new in video search marketing and what is new and big in social media marketing. I put together three reviews that you should check out over my first day. I also have a Flickr account going for my whole NYC trip that will be updated everyday.
