DMCC Gala

October 20th, 2008

During the SCP show the 2008 DMCC Gala was held..Was really nice..a lot better then last years.Fred G of team Hankook was given the first place trophy for the season along with the sweet custom air brushed helmet for the triple crown award and the Castrol up award.I have to say the Castrol Cup is the biggest trophy Ive ever seen…Marco S of Team GT was came in second and his team mate Haig K came in 3rd..Team GT tired won the tire championship and Mark S of team Toyo got the award of rookie of the year. We also got to hear some new plans for next year that made me even more exited for next season..

Over the weekend it was the SCP show at the olympic stadium in Montreal..Its a 3 day car show featuring pretty much everything..This was the 9th edition of the show and it was easy to see that tuning is going down..There were less cars,, less nicely modded cars and even less big booths.the centre of the show that usually has some hot car manufacture booths was taken up by an Intel booth for a world of war craft game competition..But there were some cool things that stood out..The main thing was the unveilling of the 3rd top tuner car..this time the team did up a CTS V..it was awesome especially with its 1450 whp..It love to try it..lolSCP1SCP2SCP3
