There are a lot of things that happen at SEMA that are crazy. Some things are just plain odd. I snapped this photo of a model shoot. Who brings all of these all this stuff to SEMA?

I’m not really sure where the time went, but before I knew it, it was Friday and I found myself at bar with some of the Drift Alliance riding the mechanical bull.

This is Bud, he was saved from an abusive home. Now he just sits around and eats crickets.

We just rolled up some updates to the twitter feed. Before the feed only pull in results from one keyword, “Formula D” now with the changes you will be able to see tweets from anyone using several terms including “Formuald”, “Formula D”, “Formula Drift” and “FormulaDrift”. This means that you will get more comprehensive coverage from the Formula D events this season. The Formula D Long Beach event had more than 500 tweets that were recorded from people at the track. I’m hoping that we get over 1000 for Atlanta. The Formula D Atlanta Event Channel is live over at: http://www.wreckedmagazine.com/twitter/fdatlanta09/

Over the weekend I was mostly working on Wrecked, adding some long over due features to the backend. I did however manage to escape from my desk for a little while and catch the new bond film Quantum of Solace. I think that it was a very good bond movie. I must say that Daniel Craig is growing on me as a James Bond actor. I don’t think that he will ever replace Pierce Brosnan. That will just not be possible.(I spent to many hours watching Goldeneye and playing it on the N64) Daniel Craig plays a much darker and deeper Bond the Pierce does. I think that I’m starting to like that. This movie has much more action than the last one, but at the downside to that it did have some lacking in the plot developemnt area. But I can over look that after it is a Bond movie, action is what you want in a Bond movie. Overall a great movie and that I recommend to anyone that want to go an watch a good movie.

It turns out the Hulu monitors twitter to figure out probems that they are having. There were tons of people that were asking questions and hulusupport was helping them out.  They also told people about outages in their area. I find this very impressive. To me that shows that hulu understands that people that watch their content. I’m impressed.

I love those guys…

I’ve been trying to get some revsions done on the site over the last few days. But its been really slow. Mainly because I’ve been sick.  Most of the updates arn’t going to be visible, or at least they should not be . I’ve been working on doing some rewrites to make the site more CSS based. I like using CSS more and more everytime that I start programing in it. Hopfully by rewriting parts of the site using just CSS it will fix some of the display issues that can occur from time to time.
