So I’ve been working on this video for a while, but I finally put it on youtube… This is what happens with no sleep at SEMA.. I think this was Day 4…
While working working hard at SEMA, we descided that working on a million projects was not enough, we decided that we needed todo some work for Spice TV. Check out the results:
Its really had for one describe what actually goes on during SEMA. Its wears people down, drives them mad and it also drives them to sleep in random locations on the show floor.

and for some reason when people are sleeping on the floor, people like to sit on them.

Some times you just have to crash on the floor. Even though there are chairs to sit in:

Other people, like Will SEMA has a different effect on:
and then some people just lose their minds:

Well, thats about it for my SEMA coverage. I’m now back in the ATL and back in the grind. It was fun.. It was crazy, it made me go crazy…
To every one that was there, its was crazy and wild as usual. Theory team, fun workin with you as always. James glad you finally made it and you rocked it hardcore. (I’m assuming you finally made it back to Atlanta. Stupid Airlines). Kelly thanks for putting up with us and rockin some sweet interviews. Jayke you killed it.. Will awesome hangin with you at the hostel. Another crazy SEMA done.
This SEMA the crew kept quite busy. We had several tasks that we had accomplish. Most of these involved filming the show for one reason or another.
Waiting for the Naughty NOS Girls to finish their autograph session so we could film their interview for NOS TV.
We also filmed with with some of the formula D Drivers including Sam Hubinette who was unveiling his new 2008 Drift ride: :
Vaughn also put down a solid interview as well.

An interview with Chris Forsberg for NOS TV:
Unless you were at SEMA you would not believe that crazy things that happen there while you are trying to get work done. While we were filming an interview for NOS TV with Norris, some random man thought that it would be a great idea to take a picure with Kelly. Never mind that Norris is talking to the camera giving the interview, the man asks him to to take a picture of him with Kelly. I have only one way to describe this “Amazing”:

Any way you should check out the Wrecked Magazine SEMA video coverage as well as the videos for NOS TV. We will have more NOS TV interviews up in the next couple of days.

I can honestly say that SEMA this year was a real blur. It can about way faster that it should of, it hit hard, and then left with out warning.
Since we were staying off of the strip about 30 minutes of our day was spent driving back and forth to from the house to the convention center. For most of the these trips i played the chauffeur. I did not bring my little hat but I should have:

I thought that my driving skills were awesome. But when i looked back the faces often looked like this:
But anyway, the SUV we rented still works, more or less.. Although the transition is starting to slip a little.. And its still in one piece although I still have to return it to the airport tomorrow…
This year at SEMA we decided to change it up a bit. Last year we stayed on the strip. That proved to be quite dangerous, so this year we decided to rent a house that was off the strip by a few minutes. This way our team would be able to stay together and not be spread out across around a hotel. Plus we hoped that no one in out group would get drunk and go an get married again
I was so amazed by the pool that I forgot to take a shot of the house. This pool was sick!! Not only that it had a hot tub as well.
Since we were updating video content every day we had a command center setup in the living room.
Yep, we brought an iMac. Some times you really need a bit more processing power. Expecially when trying to get videos up the same day.
I must say that having the house was one of the smartest things that we did for SEMA. Next year we will be back in a house for SEMA. Hopefully we will go for the place with the pool table next year
For Irwindale, we put up a feed that showed anyone Twittering about Formula D. Now we’ve taken it a step further. I’ve spent the last couple of days rewriting the code that we used for Irwindale and hopefully improved it so that it can handle SEMA. If you want to know whats happening durring SEMA check out http://www.wreckedmagazine.com/twitter/sema08
