   AMEN! – (But people will still have to learn the hard way)

   PS – Your really should upgrade to a sealed AGM battery when you got some extra cash to avoid gas venting issues and get the same power in a smaller package.

   You are right, and at some point I will get a sealed battery, but first things first.

   Thanks for the info on Odyssey, they don’t sponsor a drifter as of yet. Do you have any contacts with them?

   Thanks for the tip Dennis.

   You should think about XS Power, they sponsored the Project 350.

   Also, many drifters run Optima’s in the Formula Drift series.

   BTW-That still won’t pass unless you get a cover to seal it all up and run a vent tube that exits outside the cabin.

   Yes sir, I have the cover. Its the typical marine-style plastic battery box. I removed the cover to take the picture.

   So, in other words, the tie-down passes, yes?

   Now I think you could lift the whole car by the battery.
