James Deane recaps his event at IDC Round 2 [VIDEO]

James Deane took second at the Punchestown event last month, losing only to Alan Sinnott. He also battled young Jack Shanahan, a 13-year-old phenom from Ireland that Deane himself has been coaching over there. If there’s any doubts in anyone’s mind about Deane’s ability to chase in tandem with the best of them, this video should put that to rest.

2013 Irish Drifting Championships Round 2 [RESULTS]

Round 2 of the Irish Drifting Championship took place over the weekend at Punchestown, and some familiar faces emerged at the top of the podium. Alan Sinnott piloted his S14 to the win, beating out the familiar Falken Tire RX7 of James Deane. Most notable on the weekend was young Jack Shanahan who, at age 13, won the ‘semi-pro’ event on Saturday which gave him a bid into the Pro class, where he placed 4th. Keep an eye on this kid in the future!

2012 Drift Allstars Round 3 Punchestown [RESULTS]

James Deane pulled off a perfect weekend qualifying first, finishing first in the ‘superlap’ competition, and then winning the tandem rounds in his Full Stop Falken Tire RX7. After watching the highlight video he released earlier in the week, it’s clear that Deane is on a mission to finish off the season strong. Could we see Deane make a return to Formula D in 2013 for the 10th season ?

2012 ProDrift Round 2 at Punchestown [RESULTS]

The guys in Ireland fired up Round 2 of the 2012 season with a huge event at Punchestown. Former Formula Drift star James Deane brought out his SR20 powered Rx-7 and sadly finished in fourth place due to a vehicle malfunction in the third place round. Here is how the podium finished up:
