The 2011 season is in full swing all around the world now and Am series are no exception to the mix. Former Formula Drift driver Andrew Hateley took home the victory at the Bullring Lot yesterday. Las Vegas Motor Speedway throws it all at the young drivers as one of the harder and faster Am courses in the country. The number #1 qualifier for the day and winner of the Retaks “Insane Entry” award was Eugene Remishevskly. Here is how the podium cleaned up below.

In 12 days on April 23rd you can get your drifting fix once again in Las Vegas, Nevada as the Vegas Pro-Am series kicks off at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The event will be located on the Bullring Lot. If your not familiar with the track layout or Vegas Drift you can check out a 2010 Gallery from Round 3 at the same location shot by Ricky Cervantes. Drivers will pay $150.00 for a full day of drifting and spectators can come in the door for $5.00. Former Formula Drift judge Ernie Fixmer will judge the competition along with former driver Tommy Suell.

The guys at Vegas Drift are throwing another Pro Am race just a few weeks before Formula Drift Las Vegas. The event is next Saturday at the Bullring Lot on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway premises. Spectators are $5.00 all night and the event kicks off at 4:00pm.

This Formula D Singapore Pro Am did take place in early July and we did post about a gallery from the Houston Imports crew but we have some new stuff we found from the event. The Flickr user e3lipse has 83 photos uploaded from the great event. The Changi Expo was over loaded with excitement even after the rain started to fall at this exciting event. We cannot wait until this winter when Formula Drift visits Southeast Asia again.

Evergreen Speedway-PRO-AM Practice Session
The United Front guys from the north west put together another great grassroots video for you to check out. The video really excites us because it labels the drivers it features allowing you to properly idenitiy who is drifting. Are you watching video producers, please take note! They have some aggressive drifters out in the north west and the Pro Am event should be a real treat. This is just a preview for Seattle!

2008 Formula D Pro Am at Redbull
Check out all the Am drivers ripping it up at the Port of Long Beach! Many drivers came to fight for a license and while most of them wound up totaling their budget rides a few drivers rose to the top and took home the prize, a Formula D 2009 license. These drivers got put to the true test while having to compete at the Terminal Island where pro’s from all around the world had a hard time competing in the following days. We noted a few weeks ago which drivers got licensed at this event in our Formula D 2008 Pro Am Finals story on Wrecked Magazine. Don’t miss this great video we put together!
