Justin Pawlak Testing his 2014 Ford Mustang – No More RTR

Justin Pawlak was spotted testing his Ford Mustang in a parking lot this week. The car is sporting HRE C106 competition wheels and retains many of his 2012 sponsors including Mobil 1, HPI, Ford Racing, and Wilwood. His program does lack the technical support of ASD since they split ways during the off-season with Falken Tire and are running the Vaughn Gittin Jr. x Nitto Tire racing program. The split also probably explains why Justin is no longer running the RTR kit and has swapped over to 3D Carbon for the new year. It will be interesting to see if Justin can overcome all these changes and maintain a championship run?

We also found this video shot by the Formula Drift TV staff showing Justin Pawlak doing some test runs and what looks to be them testing some new GoPro technology. They have some pretty wild roof camera rig setup that seems pretty smooth in this video. It looks like GoPro will be pushing the limits of how we watch Formula Drift this year! What do you think?

Vaughn Gittin Jr. Presents his 2012 Formula Drift Look [SNAPSHOT]

At a super secret location in Long Beach right now Vaughn Gittin Jr. is unveiling his 2013 Ford Mustang. If you know your dive bars in the area you might be able to track them down but hte car looks pretty awesome. This is leaps/bounds over his older vehicle looks but appears much of the sponsors and car build are the same. The 2013 GT still features the a rear radiator setup and bright green HRE wheels. What do you think of the new 2013 Ford Mustang? Can Vaughn Gittin Jr. start off his 2012 season better than the last one?

Vaughn Gittin Jr. Helps Launch Ford Mustang in Saudi Arabia

Vaughn Gittin Jr. is currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Al Jazirah Ford Dealership  for the launch of the Ford Mustang. They even have a red GT500 ready for sale on HRE wheels (seen in picture 1). It looks like Vaughn Gittin Jr. brought out quite a crowd to this humungous dealership. It looks like a good time and we are sad we cannot see Vaughn next week at Yas Marina Circuit since he is so close in Riyadh.
