2013 Formula Drift Round 6 – Tire Manufacturer Championship [STANDINGS]

Earning their fifth podium of the season, Hankook Tire hops over Falken Tire in the standings for the Tire Manufacturer championship. It’s basically a 3-way race to the first-ever tire championship between Hankook, Falken, and Achilles, with Nitto having an outside chance at the championship should they get two drivers on the podium at Irwindale.

Ford’s lead in the OEM championship shrinks as Lexus jumps Nissan, making for an exciting showdown going into the final round of competition. BMW also climbed over Scion in the standings behind their second win and third podium of the season. All of the top 5 OEM brands have a legitimate shot at the OEM championship entering the final round, and landing a pair of drivers on the podium could drastically tilt the standings.

2013 Formula Drift Round 5 – Seattle – Manufacturers Championship [STANDINGS]

With a pair of top 8 finishes for Justin Pawlak and Vaughn Gittin Jr, Ford takes over sole control of first place in the OEM Manufacturer’s standings, with Lexus dropping to third. Nissan moved into second thanks to the win from Forsberg and a top-16 showing from Kado. Scion and BMW round out the top five, with Chevy, Toyota, and Mazda maintaining their position. Subaru and Hyundai both jumped ahead of Dodge thanks to the first top-16 appearances of the season from both brands behind Yoshioka (Subaru) and Mertzanis (Hyundai).
