Here is a list for the northwestern United States Formula Drift Pro Am which seems to be loaded with events and opportunities for driver improvements. The guys up there show some true talent and if your in the area look at events from April to September to test your drifting skills.

In case you remember all of this nonsense around Formula Drift Seattle last season it all resulted in Tanner being fined his qualifying points for the 2010 season. If you look over the 2009 standings you will see towards the end of the season he didn’t receive his qualifying points due to a fine based on the rear suspension and some other items. Well it looks like the AEM/Rockstar Energy Drink team is getting their ducks in a row for the tech day coming up and Long Beach! Something tells me Tanner Foust and this team won’t be failing to qualify for Top 32 at any point this year, other teams be warned.

If your going to be in the area or have nothing to do put this on your list. The day is booked with teams checking in and getting tech’d before Formula Drift Long Beach. The Wrecked Magazine Project 350z will be there and completed which is truly an exciting thing to see. It is getting it’s finishing touches done as I type. Look at this one, a quick update on the Darren McNamara machine. It does look like no more Sears Auto Center on this car. It looks like Mobil 1, Sparco, Brian Crower, Sparco, ASD, SSR wheels, GoPro Camera, Wilwood Brakes, and it looks like one sticker I just cannot read.

Here is a bad photo of Vaughn Gittin Jr’s new Ford Mustang. This is not the final wrap for the new Formula Drift season yet but I have it on pretty good authority that when the car is done it will look like what it did here: Fantasy Factory 2011 Mustang [SPYSHOTS]. So this snapshot is the best looking you will see this car since that black/white Falken style livery just doesn’t look good. Man this car looks tough in this photo right here though…… and so strange to see Justin Pawlak in the traditional Mustang just behind this one.

The guys at Team Falken are out at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina getting some practice time in before the new season gets underway. A quick glance at the snapshot you might not notice anything out of place but over too the far right is Darren McNamara’s car in what appears to be a non Sears Auto Center wrap. Just from this snapshot I can tell you that it’s the best looking we have seen this Saturn Sky to date. Good luck with the testing Team Falken!

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of the best motorsports facilities in the United States by a mile. Vegas Drift took over the Bullring Lot for this event. This marked the first Pro Am Round of 2010 held by the guys at Vegas Drift and we loved every minute of the event. A fierce top 16 battle winded the day down to show off some great talent from the region. Thanks to Ricky Cervantes for taking all of our photos at the event!

XDC just sent out an e-mail that the voice of Formula Drift is now also sharing his voice with the Xtreme Drift Circuit. He will be making his start at Irwindale and screaming his way straight through the whole 2010 series. Congrats to the guys at XDC and Jarod DeAnda for the new partnership.
