If your at all like the people in our office you spend most of your day watching Netflix Instant Streaming. In fact, most of the time your actual Netflix DVD’s just sit around collecting dust until weeks later they magically get back in the mailbox. If your an Initial D fan you can find the 2005 Special Edition DVD available for streaming. The drifting movie On the Scene: Drift Battle we reported on last spring is still available for Netflix Instant Streaming as well. Say goodbye to work productivity until lunchtime today.

Need for Speed SHIFT 2 Teaser
Inside the intense video game world of Need for Speed they are already busy producing content and video game play for SHIFT 2 even though Hot Pursuit came out hours ago. This video caught our attention as we noticed Matt Powers (Need for Speed Formula Drift driver) flipping over during a heated race in what looks to be some kind of Porsche. You can also notice Speedhunters photographer Linhbergh Nguyen in the video if you look really close.

Team Falken Manager Jonathon Bradford took home the Team Owner/Manager of the Year for the 2010 season. He watches over the largest team in the sport currently and had four drivers finish in the top ten. Among those four he took home the first ever championship for Falken Tire in their seven year history as a team in the sport. On top of all that he isn’t half bad at Call of Duty which we hope to start playing with him again on Xbox Live now that the off-season is here.

Get ready to add another 2010 Formula Drift car to your Forza garages! Usually you’d see my cars on here but this time Dr. Westies got to work getting Ryuji Miki’s new car replicated for us just after the cars debut. The car has very accurate detailing which fills up 994 layers on each side of the car. You can pick this amazing replica up on his Storefront for 25,000 in game credits. Just search “DRW, or miki 2010″ in the Forza Motorsport 3 storefront.

Michael Essa has some fans in the video game community who created a replica car in Forza 3. The wheels are not quite as bright as the ones on his car but is a great design. We love to see all the new 2010 liveries from Formula Drift being mocked up in Forza 3. Thanks for the tip Kelly!

If your a Netflix user I am sure you are familiar with the great Watch Instantly feature they now offer. Well On the Scene: Drift Battle was recently added to instant streaming feature from best we can tell giving all you drift fans a weekend treat. In fact, I am watching it right now as I type out this post with great flashbacks into the early days of drifting in America. The video clocks in at just over one hour and ten minutes. Remember you can send Neflix to your Xbox360 so you can watch this on your television. It’s worth a few minutes if you want to check out Formula Drift stars back in the day.I love the interview with Ross Petty that is truly a classic.
If your not a Netflix member you can always buy it from Wrecked Magazine: http://www.wreckedmagazine.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_72&products_id=256

Installment two of Project Blackjack drifting setups has arrived at Wrecked Magazine. This one features the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with Conrad Gruenwald’s 2010 look that debuted at SEMA 2009. Earlier this month we debuted Daijiro Yoshihara’s Discount Tire S13 in the game which is a great setup.
This one is a little more experienced of a setup to handle but once you get it down it will make some insane scores. 4th gear is a good start on this car and once you start to get a feel for it, try drifting around in 5th for the huge points. You will need to buy a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro which costs $33,000 to get started. So the Autoweek Car Pack had some decent cars but the 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is available in the pack which with the help of Saleen bumpers is easily made into a 2010 Falken Tire Ford Mustang drift machine. I recommend throwing a stock car motor in the thing and tune the suspension/transmission away to your liking. This car wrap is available in “CobraTuner“ storefront for under 10,000 credits!
The Santa Monica Airport Hanger release 2010 Mustang he drifted around is also available in the same storefront for a little more virtual cash. If you don’t remember what that car looks like you can mosey on over to our 2010 Mustang Debut video or check out the 2010 Mustang Gallery we made from the same night. This really is a spot on render if your looking to add to your collection of Formula Drift cars in Forza Motorsport 3.

While some of you kids are sitting around bored out of your mind this holiday season (mainly because your still “waiting” for Gran Tursimo 5) the rest of us have moved on, pawned our Playstation 3′s and been hooked into Forza Motorsport 3 on the Xbox 360. We went to ID Agency, popped in the playseat, grabbed the Fanatec wheel and went to town showing all the other editors our skill and lack of a girlfriend by ripping around some courses in a slurry of smoke with some new Holiday DLC cars. To celebrate the holidays Turn 10 gave us 10 new cars for the Holiday Pack that you can go sliding around in.
1. 2010 Audi S4
2. Nissan GT-R Spec V
3. Ferrari 599xx
4. Ferrari 458 Italia
5. Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss
6. Lamborghini Murcielago MP670-4
7. Jaguar XFR (yawn!)
8. Porsche Panamera Turbo
9. Audi R15 TDI
10. Aston Martin Lola
