Here is the official event video from Street Driven Tour Las Vegas. It featured one of the strongest drivers lists of the season and some of the best tandem trains of the year at Street Driven by far. Sit back and watch the Street Driven Tour X StanceWars Las Vegas event wrapped up in one great video. Chris Forsberg even brought out the old K-Sport Nissan 350z with a new flat black look and Voodoo 13 sponsorship.
The Street Driven Tour is coming to invade the west coast in Las Vegas this upcoming weekend on September 26th! A huge roster of professional Formula Drift drivers combined with grassroots drifters from around the southwest and a StanceWars car show will have Las Vegas Motor Speedway going crazy on Saturday!
This big time drivers list includes Juha Rintanen, Andy Hateley, Brandon Wicknick, Alex Heilbrunn, Chris Forsberg, Danny George, Faruk Kugay, Pat Mordaunt, and Forrest Wang! It sounds like it will be truly a fun event and you can purchase discount tickets ahead of time through this tickets link.
The event also includes a big burnout contest dubbed the Tire Massacre to finish off the day and send everyone home covered in tire smoke. Drifting mini-games will also take place that include things such as Drift Soccer seen below.
Faruk Kugay, who was born in Vejle, Poland, now hails from San Francisco and earned his license from the Golden Gate Drift Pro Am. He also regularly competed in the Vegas Drift Pro Am in 2014, as well as going back and forth in Europe for drifting and working as the importer for Wisefab in the US. So, if your car has a Wisefab kit, you can probably thank Faruk for bringing it to your local parts dealer. His Nissan S14 is known as Raze ‘till and it looks to Raise Hell in the 2015 Pro2 championship with power coming from a 2JZ and, of course, a Wisefab suspension kit.

The first ever Southwest Drift Pro Am (formerly Vegas Drift now expanded) kicked off in Arizona under much fanfare. This Pro Am series has seen quite some talents produced over the course of the last few years. This track had a unique layout with some decent speed which challenged drivers all weekend. Here is how they finished:
1st. Tony Cisneros
2nd. Travis Avery
3rd. Joe Tardiff
Following the final event of the 2014 Top Drift season finale, the four drivers who had earned Formula D Pro 2 licenses for the 2015 season were determined. Spike Chen won the 2014 championship, but still retains his license from 2013, which he earned via the Vegas Drift ProAm series.
Here’s a list of the drivers who will be eligible to drive in the Formula D Pro 2 series in 2015:
Spike Chen – Nissan S13
Dan Burkett – FC RX7
Donovan Brockway – BMW E30
Alex Helibrunn – BMW E46
Next was Patterson and Hummel and Patterson would take the win, increasing his point lead that much further. However, Cameron Moore would answer back after taking the win against Matt Dale! Matt looked great, but Cameron Moore was on a charge to gain points!
Just in time for Round 4 of the Vegas Drift Pro Am Championship at the Outside Road Course of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, new pavement was laid down and would look to shake things up in the points. As grip increased, so did the excitement and close calls which lead to a great event at the end of the day!
Four days prior to Round 4 on Saturday Las Vegas Motor Speedway finished repaving the surface of the Outside Road Course. Not only that, but parts of the former course were laid back down with fresh pavement and allowed Vegas Drift staff to create a new, exciting course that would be very D1 styled as it was fast, short, and deceivingly technical.
Drivers would charge down the straight, heading towards the “Alamo”. They would then initiate into drifting right on the edge of the pavement just a few feet from the retaining wall. This double apex turn would lead to the first clipping point and continue the right hand turn. Immediately the drivers would have to transition to a right-left s-turn with two front clipping points for each before apex ending the course on the last straight.
Matt Ulfelder took on Vegas Drift with an impressive gallery from Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Watch as these guys do Pro Am battle as the season quickly comes closer to finishing up! Follow the link below to see all the drifting that went down at Vegas Drift Round 4!
