The former series of JDM All-Stars which is now rebranded as Drift All-Stars has a pretty awesome 2012 schedule spanning across the continent. The event looks at six full events and a national cup to complete the series. Let’s check out where they are visiting:

The guys in Europe (Ireland) are coming up with a big and fun 2012 series. They have produced several Formula Drift drivers past/present from former champions so keep your eye out at these events for up and coming talent.

Drifting is kicking off again with 5 rounds of the Midwest Drift Union scheduled for the 2012 calendar year. The schedule takes local drivers from Ohio, Wisconsin, and Indiana. The end of the year includes an awards banquet in Indianapolis on October 6th to recap the seasons events.

The 2012 Xtreme Drift Circuit series has just announced a schedule that has 7 events on the calendar down from the 8 events last year. No more PGP for 2012 and an additional event in Buffalo, New York at Dunn Raceway Park.

Round 2 – Firebird Raceway (Phoenix, Arizona) – April 14th
Round 3 – Central Florida Racing Complex (Orlando, Florida ) – May 19th/20th

Round 6 – DMCC in USA Vs. Canada (Montreal, Canada) – September 2nd/3rd
Round 7 – Texas Motor Speedway (Dallas, Texas) – September 22nd

If your looking to move your status from Am to the Pro Am in hopes of climbing the ranks into Formula Drift driver status then look no further than this great series in Texas. The Lone Star Drift series will kick off in March 2012 at Greyhound Park in Houston, Texas with great partners such as SPEC Clutch and Kenda Tire.

The 2012 Just Drift event series is locked in at Willow Springs just north of Los Angeles, California with plenty of events for Am drivers to get practice and excitement in for 2012. At least one event from February to December in 2012 provides drivers and fans with tons of entertainment.

The D1 Grand Prix series has posted a new schedule for the 2012 drifting season. After reviewing this schedule they have two direct conflicts with Formula Drift in the United States with Round 3 at Autopolis which conflicts with the US event Evergreen Speedway. Round 4 of the D1GP season finds them at Ebisu Circuit while Formula D is at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This means Daigo Saito splitting time to run both series is highly unlikely. Here is how the 7 round D1GP schedule stacks up for 2012 with a notable absence of Fuji Speedway:

The third round of Vegas Drift Pro Am kicks off at the end of July at Las Vegas Motor Speedway at the Bullring Lot. If you haven’t been to one of the local Pro Am events in Las Vegas then you are missing out on one of the most fun grassroots series in the United States. We recommend showing up for qualifying as a fan so you don’t have to fend off the Nevada sun! One of our favorite Am/local series out of Las Vegas, Nevada has announced it’s new 2011 series. The guys in Vegas Drift have a four round Am series and two bonus event. We attended the Nelis Air Force Base event in the past and it clearly looked like the most fun you could have in a drift car.
