We got some wheels in the other day for our Project V8 240sx. The wheels are Enkei RPF1 wheels in F1 silver. The wheels will be installed soon once our new tires arrive for the 240sx. This project car keeps building as we installed the APEX’i S1 coilovers last month over at on the V8 240sx project car blog! Be sure to keep an eye on the build as we will be making large steps in progress over the next few months during the California not so cold winter.

Our Project Tow Vehicle Chevrolet Tahoe has been getting modified this week. We added a B&M Racing Deep Transmission Pan which added 3 quarts of transmission fluid to keep our temperatures down when towing. The product was a great addition to our tow vehicle and a must purchase. Our other modification was a JBA Shorty Header that dropped our cruising RPM’s and gave us some much needed low end torque. Follow the installs at our Tow Vehicle Blog!

I know the Project V8 240sx project has been slow to move in these last couple months but she is getting geared up with parts and installations now that it is winter! Our first new toy we went and picked up at APEXi yesterday was a full S1 Damper system. An installation article should be up shortly and make sure you keep up with Project V8 240sx below via the V8 240sx blog in the Drivers Lounge.

The supercharger we run on Project 350z is a Vortech Supercharger V-3 trim. Right now until the end of 2010 you can get $250 cash back on any supercharger purchase from Vortech Superchargers. A pretty great deal if your looking to supercharge your VQ or add some power to your V8 swap. If you want to familiarize yourself with applications or the brand in general you can head over to the website for more information.

The Brian Crower Stage 2 cams are now on Project 350z! Check out our brief installation guide on how to do the camshaft swap. Sadly the VQ35 engine has to be pulled out to load the cams in so it’s quite a hassle and long installation. You will need more than a few hours to tackle it (we took about 15). In the end you will be satisfied with this product and have a noticeable upgrade in performance. If you get over your head on this one please do yourself a favor and consult some professional help.

After some quick shopping around For Sale sections on the forums we tracked down this immaculate S14 dash out of a freshly wrecked vehicle. For just over $100 we got our hands on a perfect dash and center console. We document the fitment of the S14 dash in a S13 and show you how we hacked away at the dash to make it fit around the roll cage. This is quite an aesthetic upgrade from the S13 factory dash. The one that came in the backseat of our S13 was all cracked and destroyed so this felt like a logical upgrade.

We just picked up a S13 (1991 Nissan 240sx) shell this week which we are adding to the list of project cars at Wrecked Magazine! It came to us pretty bare, however it does include a S14 front crossmember, S14 subframe, rollcage, and some seam welding. The car will be getting a V8 engine soon as we dig into the project. The rest will be left secret until we start installing our goodies.
We also have a 1991 Chevrolet Camaro project car to this 1991 Nissan 240sx as a V8 drift car build off. Both cars are the same price on the market and released the same year onto the market. Watch as our two builds between the Camaro and 240sx will show you two ways to enjoy V8 drifting!

Now that the Project 350z is off touring around the United States we are gearing up some new project vehicles. While dedicating the year of 2010 to V8 power we decided to build up a tow vehicle. Since almost everyone with a drift car spends way more time towing than driving we opted to build up a tow vehicle. Our Chevrolet Tahoe will slowly be converted into one amazing Project Tow machine. Visit the Project Tow vehicle blog to read about our AEM Brute Force Intake installation.
