As you can tell by the cover of Issue 14 it is the best issue we have made to date. A Mazda Rx-7 driven by a bunny rabbit brings Fantasy Drift to the fans forever. TO celebrate our debut of Fantasy Drift we allowed some of your favorite drifters to embrace their inner fantasy. Well I guess this post is mildly ironic at this point but the Bergenholtz Brothers Mazda Rx-8 is featured in the Super Street Magazine February 2010 issue out now. The feature highlights the 2009 Mazda Rx-8 along with it’s former driver Justin Pawlak. The announcement came about 48 hours ago that Justin Pawlak was removed from the team and the Bergenholtz guys have announced that next week they will be unveiling a new driver.

Lucky Issue 13 has hit our virtual newsstand and it’s the 2009 Am Edition covering the 2009 Formula Drift Pro Am. All the newly licensed drivers have interviews introducing the new blood coming to Formula Drift for 2010. The new issue also visits Will Roegge for an inside look at his skills behind the camera since he has become one of the most well known drifting video directors to date. The Project Nissan 350z gets a serious horsepower upgrade with a new Vortech Supercharger and more.

Rhys Millen and Daijiro Yoshihara were called upon for a drifting project at Road & Track magazine. The January 2010 issue which just hit stands this week takes seven completely bone stock vehicles to find out how well they will drift. The seven cars they tested are:

Here is another drift car hitting the newsstand this fall (November 2009) issue to be exact of Modified Mustangs & Fords. While this cover lacks the hot girl like Ken  Gushi’s cover we are proud to the see the screaming 2010 Ford Mustang screaming across the magazine cover. Ken Gushi’s Scion tC is gracing the September 2009 issue of PAS Magazine. The Formula Drift Scion tC is looking great on the cover and the inside pages have a a full breakdown of the car done by Jacob Leveton. To compliment the Scion tC they put Tianna Ta on the cover to move some more copies. The issue also has 200 pages of randomness and a Speakers/Nitrous Buyers Guide.

This weekend along with Formula Drift Vegas we will be taking a 2010 Ford Mustang on a 1,000 mile road trip with a pit stop at good old Formula D Las Vegas. Vaughn Gittin Jr. will be joining us to give us an overall review of the OEM version of his drifting machine.

The thing that interests me most of all about taking out the 2010 Ford Mustang is this will be my first long road trip in an American muscle car. An iconic American symbol blasting across the wild west this weekend lead by a prancing horse logo is already in my dreams. My last long haul road trip was a 3,000 mile cross country venture in a Bentley GT. The car only made it about 2,200 miles with me behind the wheel and struggled to stay in one piece all week.

After driving it around Los Angeles today I have already enjoyed the machine. It’s a nice blend of new car and an American classic. Enough about all that though, we will have your full review once we are back from Las Vegas on Tuesday. Keep checking back for updates coming very soon.
