The new issue of Wrecked Magazine is out on the virtual newsstand! We get really crazy this issue and only feature things with gorgeous Chevrolet V8 engines! Our old Project V8 240sx graced the cover with an issue that is full of LS engine information and a great product highlight from Canton Racing. Wrecked Magazine Issue 30 is Out [READ THIS]

WreckedMagazine.Issue30

Issue 30 of Wrecked Magazine is now available on the virtual newsstand! We updated our software finally so you can view this issue on iPad, iPhone, or any Android or other mobile device. The complete issue functions now in HTML5! We have five awesome features and a new project car to kick off our 30th issue! We also kicked off the new software with a new feature focused format.

The build features inside this magazine are a 2JZ powered R34 Nissan Sklyine from D1NZ, C’s Garage Silvia from D1NZ, Enjuku Racing’s LS1 swapped Hyundai Genesis, a 2JZ powered 1994 Mazda RX-7, and to finish it all up Patrick Mordaunt’s Lexus SC430 from Formula Drift. We even introduce a new project car with R/T Tuning.

Wrecked Magazine Issue 29 – A Ten Year Tribute of Formula Drift


Issue 29  is a tribute piece to the first 10 seasons of Formula Drift. Using the number 10 as a benchmark, we look at the Top 10 Unique Car Builds, Top 10 Reasons I’m A Fan, and a look at the Victories by OEM. The cover spread is the Top 10 Moments of Formula Drift which covers wrecks, thousands in cash, and even some international travel.

Wrecked Magazine Issue 28 On Our Virtual Newsstand [READ IT]

Issue 28 is here for viewing just before the big main event at Irwindale Speedway. The issue breaks down Ryan Tuerck’s Scion FR-S 2JZ engine build and we sit down with Pro Am driver Matt Coffman who has a great story to tell and is focused on Formula Drift in the future. Wrecked Magazine Issue 27 Is Out Now [READ THIS]


Issue 27 of Wrecked Magazine brings Michael Essa back to our cover to interview him after his first ever Formula Drift victory. Jacob Leveton writes a guest editorial on the state of the 2013 rookies and then Danny George gets put In Focus. Wrecked Lifestyle puts a focus on what our staff has deemed “track essentials” with items from Electric Visual, ReplayXD, and Otterbox. The big finale is our amazing trip to Japan for Drift Matsuri including a write up on how cheap you can participate converted already into American dollars. Our Mustang RTR gets a huge drivetrain overhaul with help from Tremec and ACT Clutch.

Wrecked Magazine Releases Issue 26


Issue 26 of Wrecked Magazine highlights Fredric Aasbo and his great feats during Formula Drift. After he slayed the champion during Streets of Long Beach everyone put eyes on Fredric Aasbo so we sat down to interview him. He talks about his new RS*R Toyota FT-86 powered by a NASCAR engine. We talk to Melissa Miller who is a girl drifter with a Nissan 300zx in our Girl on Girl section. Our Mustang RTR gets suspension treatment and we go In Focus on the new cars of 2013. Jacob Leveton also answers 5 Questions you might have after the new season started.

Formula Drift Partners with GoPro for the 2013 Season

The 2013 season brings in a huge new partner to the Formula Drift series with GoPro. We have a reason to believe they will be added to the Major Sponsors page of the FD website soon and appear with all the major sponsors on the front of the Long Beach flyer. We anticipate the GoPro craze to get even crazier with the official sponsorship.

A little flashback to Issue 16 of Wrecked Magazine when we had Patrick from GoPro tag along with us to film our Virtual vs. Reality piece with Vaughn Gittin Jr. at Willow Springs. Issue 25 of Wrecked Magazine Is Released [READ IT]

Issue 25 of Wrecked Magazine highlights all the newly Formula Drift licensed drivers of 2013! We highlight Dan Savage, Nate Hamilton, Tyler Wolfson, and an additional 20+ drifters who are making moves for the 13 season. We install an ACT Clutch in our 2013 Ford Mustang RTR and let people know how we liked it after putting some test miles on it. Rathyna Gomer guest interviews Kelsey Rowlings for our new Girl on Girl segment introducing us to female drifters around the world. To wrap it all up we talk with Vegas Drift and they tell you what it takes to become a Pro Am driver in the current drift world.

Hot Rod Magazine talks Drifting and visits with Conrad Grunewald

Hot Rod Magazine made a post titled “Formula Drift Might Not Suck” where they introduce the sport to the quite older readers of Hot Rod Magazine. They visited and broke down Conrad Grunewald’s Camaro with a complete feature of his drift car. They even highlighted some topic points such as, “The Little Guys Have a Chance of Winning,” “It’s Not Just Imports,” “It Demands Perfection,” “It’s About Speed,” and a few other cool talking points.
