Words cannot even describe how much fun we had off-roading with Vaughn Gittin Jr. just before Formula Drift Las Vegas. A nice public park behind the Air Force Base and the LVMS CORR truck course gave us every opportunity to test and enjoy this SVT Raptor. It was quite a treat to have Vaughn Gittin Jr. manhandle the completely stock Ford truck for hours off-road and then hand it back to us so we can take it to the hotel. It was quite impressive and we have a few hundred photos packed in a gallery of our day out in the dirt.

Tanner Foust is just collecting wins all over the place in rally racing this year. After a double gold medal week at X-Games he kicked off Rallycross with a victory. He has one amazing For Fiesta that let him take home another win to kick off this new Rallycross season. He is stacking up an impressive resume of wins this year and has to be looking at a Formula Drift championship to finish off 2010.

MotorMavens has put together a event to find out who has the fasted drift car by throwing them down the drag strip. There will also be a car show in the pits. Tanner Foust is gearing up for Rallycross in New Jersey this weekend according to Ford Racing. The X-Games Ford Fiesta will be put back to use as he gears up to compete in the United States new series this weekend. Here is what Tanner Foust had to say about the event;

“It’s an incredibly challenging and aggressive sport,” said Foust, who has been competing in European championship events this season in the RockStar Energy Drink Ford Fiesta. “The action is non-stop and the fans can’t get enough of it. I often say it is like driving in a real life video game.”

Right now Wrecked Magazine is out with Vaughn Gittin Jr. in the Nevada desert having more fun with Vaughn Gittin Jr. in a 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor than one could ever imagine. More on this later in the weekend assuming we ever decide to come back……..

The Brian Crower Stage 2 cams are now on Project 350z! Check out our brief installation guide on how to do the camshaft swap. Sadly the VQ35 engine has to be pulled out to load the cams in so it’s quite a hassle and long installation. You will need more than a few hours to tackle it (we took about 15). In the end you will be satisfied with this product and have a noticeable upgrade in performance. If you get over your head on this one please do yourself a favor and consult some professional help.
