The guys at Clubloose threw the last event of the year at Englishtown called Finishing Moves put a close to the series for the year. Sadly New Jersey has winter coming so drifting is on hold until 2012. Dan Jenkins captured the competition of the amazing weekend with his big lens. The Toyota Corolla that drove at the 2008 Redbull World Drift Championship is now for sale back in Ireland by new United States resident Eric O’Sullivan. Aside from this car competing at the 2008 RBWC it has had quite a career inside Europe. It took home a first place championship at Prodrift IRL series, it won the first ever JDM Allstars championship, and placed 3rd overall in ProDrift Europe.

The car still is powered by a Honda s2000 engine and includes quite a list of modifications. Eric is asking €15,000(Euros) which converts to about $21,600 right now. This is one of the cheaper drift cars we have seen hit the market and according to EOS all you need to do is bring fuel/tires and this thing is event ready.

Eric O’Sullivan still getting adjusted to the new V8 Pontiac Solstice ran his car into the tire wall at PBIR. This will be the first of many contacts with the wall this weekend since it’s the first time we have visited the track with the Formula Drift series. The damage to the Solstice looks pretty minimal and we are sure Eric O’Sullivan will be out for qualifying tomorrow. Thanks to Vegas Drift Nick for the image of the damage.

Ross Fairfield Presents Formula D Road Atlanta in 2011
