The Americans took home the win with Miro Ovcharik battling Dave Briggs in the finals which was an amazing battle of 240sx’s. These photographs were snapped by our Canadian Jeremy Glover providing some intense action for the weekend.

Another Canadian weekend of drifting presented another battle between Miro Ovcharik and Dave Briggs. This time the American Miro took home the win in Quebec leaving Dave Briggs to sweep up a second place finish. Finishing off the podium was a first time finish for a DMCC star.

Drift Mania Round 3 Webisode by Expose.tv
Watch the new Drift Mania webisode from Expose.tv. Warning it is in French but they do have a blonde host the whole thing and talk to all the drivers (in French). Round 3 of the DMCC season has finished up with Canadian Dave Briggs taking home the victory in a great final battle with American Miro Ovcharik. The series is rapidly passing by as the weather has cleared up for the summer months in Canada. Round 4 is just 13 days away! Here is how the podium stacked up for the weekend.

Round 3 in Victoriaville, Quebec kicked off with a great qualifying session today at the Noveau Circuit moving the Drift Mania series forward well into Round 3. Deep in French country this weekend the Quebec based event put northeastern American Miro Ovcharik first for tomorrow’s main event! He is currently second in the championship behind second place qualifier Jeff Laflamme.

Woods Racing Mark II Crash at Drift Mania Round 3
After we posted our freeze frame crashes caught by Jeremy Glover highlight the carnage at Circuit ICAR he forwarded us this video of a Toyota Mark II hitting the wall and whipping past a camera in the process. Here it comes right into your computer screen once you click the thumbnail.

We captured some wrecked images from Drift Mania Round 2 at Circuit ICAR. The weather was intense all weekend and the drivers got caught up in some k-rails. Both of these are some pretty intense impact shots and kudos to Jeremy Glover for standing ground and shooting up the action shots as cars and debris flung right at him. When we asked for a summary of the Circuit ICAR event we just got a reply from our DMCC photographer that was summed up with one word, “wet.” The drifting went into the night in Canada in Mirabel, Quebec. XDC and local northeast drifter Miro Ovcharik took home the victory in front of a decent sized Canadian audience.

The second round of DMCC finished up this weekend at Circuit ICAR in Mirabel, Quebec. This round marks another victory for an American in the Drift Mania series as Miro Ovcharik took the fight in his pink Mishimoto S13. The third place winner Brad Carton was the one who crashed hard last round found his way back onto the podium.
