2010 Falken Throwdown – DMac takes 3rd at Evergreen Speedway
Team Falken Driver Darren McNamara scored his first podium of the year by taking third in Saturday night’s Formula Drift Championship at Evergreen Speedway. It was Falken’s sixth podium in four races and Falken’s Vaughn Gittin, Jr., who qualified first for the weekend event, continues to lead the series championship.

Here is Joon Maeng in his personal S13.5 putting on a show at Gymkhana Grid Media Day over at Hollywood Park Casino. The video has some commentary from Ken Block and Joon Maeng on the weekend and how the event structure is setup. Two Drift Alliance members Ryan Tuerck and Tony Angelo are throwing a drift clinic next month at Englishtown. The date is August 4th and the price per driver is $250 and includes a lunch. Note that you must have a cage and driver suit to enter this clinic. It is limited to 14 drivers so act fast if you would like a small training session from these two drivers.
Drift Alliance QUALIFYING CONTEST – 2010 FD Rd. 1
Check out the Drift Alliance contest from Long Beach which bids the team against each other during qualifying for speed and clipping point. Ryan Tuerck took home the speed gold medal with 58.8/50mph at the speed clocking zones. Vaughn Gittin Jr. put his 2011 Ford Mustang closer to the outside clipping point and won the gold medal in that respective category. Check it out and see how the rest of the DA finished.

Ryan Tuerck at Formula Drift Seattle
A great piece from Gardella Racing that features Ryan Tuerck man handling the Pontiac Solstice to a second place finish. This was the best performance of the year we have seen from Ryan Tuerck and his team. Sadly he finished the event off with a huge crash against Tanner Foust in the finals. Vaughn Gittin Jr. just continues to dominate the 2010 season by qualifying first and gaining more qualifying points than any other driver today. This is just pushing his lead slightly farther from Daijiro Yoshihara (2nd) in points. He will line up against Alex Pfeiffer in the Top 32.
