Ryan Tuerck In His S13 Over the Off Season

Somewhere most likely in the middle of no where New Hampshire we find Ryan Tuerck in his S13 Nissan 240sx destroying the earth. A great few minute flick produced by DA Films features Ryan keeping in shape for the off season and having way to much fun. I just love the sound of this S13 above any other one I have ever heard. Linbergh Nguyen shot Vaughn Gittin’s mastermind creation the 2010 Mustang RTR-C. This isn’t a 3m Super Tac vinyl wrap but a full carbon fiber conversion of the 2010 Mustang. It operates and feels like a stock OEM car but has taken a huge diet with some serious horsepower. If your an oil sheik or just a guy from Kansas who won the lottery then this ride is for you. Nice work to Vaughn Gittin Jr. making his vision come to life.

The San Diego KWWN Channel 4 news team consisted of Ryan Tuerck, Tony Angelo, Vaughn Gittin Jr. and, Chris Forsberg. Here is what Channel 4 news looked like in action during the 24 Hours of LeMons. The Drift Alliance never looked so good I have to say myself. More content and updates from their journey into 24 Hours of LeMons coming soon!

Channel 4 News Team is of course the crew from Anchorman and they are heading from San Diego to Thunderhill for the 24 Hours of LeMons coming up this weekend. For those unfamiliar with the 24 Hours of LeMons most teams produce gimmicks for their ride. If you haven’t seen the Nissan 240sx they built you can check it out since we posted it earlier this week. We will keep you guys posted on how they perform at the 24 Hours of LeMons this weekend as Team Drift Alliance x Channel 4 News (Anchorman).

The Drift Alliance has prepped a S13 for the 24 Hours of LeMons race this weekend at Thunderhill Raceway Park, Willows California. After talking to Chris Forsberg a minute ago it appears the team will be (Chris Forsberg, Tony Angelo, Vaughn Gittin Jr., Ryan Tuerck) and possibly Justin Pawlak.

In case your not familiar with 24 Hours of LeMons is it’s a budget endurance race. “Each LeMons race is for cars purchased, fixed up, and track-prepped for a total of 500 dollars or less.” This should be an interesting one and we wish the Drift Alliance team good luck over the weekend.

I am not sure if you have seen a promotion that Ford and Need for Speed SHIFT have been putting on but they strapped four video gamers into Need for Speed SHIFT with a 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 at Horse Thief Mile and compared their video game times to real world times. None of the kids could do it of course but then I wondered if it could be done at all.

So I am calling out Vaughn Gittin Jr. out on behalf of all our fans at Wrecked Magazine to a Need for Speed SHIFT challenge of my own. I want to run the same track in Xbox 360 with the famed Shelby GT500 at Horse Thief and see if Vaughn Gittin Jr. can beat my time!

Since he swept the Triple Crown and Championship this one is kind of a given. He edged out the 2008 Driver of the Year in both competitions by just a few points. He has been in the same platform car since 2004 and knows the Nissan 350z better than anyone who slides one sideways by far.

After beating Doug Van Den Brink in the top 32 Chris Forsberg statistically secured the Formula Drift championship for 2009. He is pictured here celebrating with his parents, wife, and brother after a long hard season. His two victories and seven top 16 appearances allowed him to remain on top of the points and clinch this championship. His 2009 victory marks the first championship won by a drifter. Previous champions have come from some other forms of racing while Chris Forsberg has only been a professional drifter in his career. 

His history at Irwindale Speedway is legendary from being the first person in series history to beat Sam Hubinette in tandem in 2004 to his huge fire during the finals in 2005. I know this will add to his collection of great memories from the House of Drift and everyone at Wrecked Magazine wants to congratulate him Chris Forsberg Racing, LS Auto, Maxxis Tires, and NOS Energy Drink for a successful season.

Right in front of the famous Mandalay Bay Casino on the Las Vegas Strip you can grab a ride with Vaughn Gittin. This has to be the most fun thing going on at the Barrett Jackson auction unless you are showing up to Nevada armed with a metal suitcase filled with $100 bills ready to bid on an old Volkswagon Beetle you plan to drive home. You should have no problem finding the drifting demo, just follow the loud tire screeching and smoke.
