D1 Underground Indiana [Midwest Circuit]

The midwest has some D1 Underground events going on out in Indiana currently licensing drivers for the D1GP USA series. In this video you can watch Chuck Litterst from Adrenaline Motorsports slide his way to a second place finish at this event. We can imagine we will see some of these licensed drivers at D1GP Chicago which is coming up pretty soon.

Another D1 Underground event has been wrapped up another event in Texas while handing out three new D1 licensed drivers. The winner Russell Walker is pictured above.

D1GP Underground in Texas: Another Look

As the reports come out from EDRFT it looks like four drivers were granted a license at the Adam’s Kart Track event in Riverside, California. With guest judges that included Daijiro Yoshihara and Matt Powers they felt four drivers had some great talent. They granted these following drivers a license:

Tommy Robert’s
Ryan Litteral
Sam Greenwood
Orlando Gamez

2009 February D1 Underground Texas

Recently we tossed up the results from this event in Texas and now we have video from this D1 Underground event at Mineral Wells. It looks like Fabricated Motorsports threw a great event in Texas and you can watch this content stuffed video covering all of the weekend.

First place was secured by Non Stop Tuning’s Will Parsons who is pictured above at the Formula D Pro Am West event at the RDWC. Below is a list of the top four drivers from the Fabricated Motorsports event.

Another D1 Underground event has come on the docket for the south western drifters. On April 25th/26th at Arroyo Seco Raceway in Deming, New Mexico SW Drift Society will host a D1 Underground event for the guys in the southwestern region. Top three drivers on Sunday will be granted D1 Underground status and a bye into the D1 Grand Prix qualifying.

In an e-mailer that was just issued by Drift Indy president they announced that they are now a D1 Underground Pro Am partner. This will help midwest drivers looking to run in the D1 Grand Prix USA series getting licensed up. Currently the only information is on the forum which requires registration but here are the event dates we found for licensing.

July 25th – Drift Indy @ Indianapolis Speedrome
August 29th – Drift Indy @ Converse Airport

It appears the D1 Grand Prix Underground website has now gone live. It looks like they are going to have a D1 Underground event at the IRL race in St. Petersburg which seems like a pretty big announcement! I know some of our dates don’t match the current ones on the D1 Underground website but I received an e-mail with other dates and since the IRL race dates matched the one in the e-mail I published those assuming they were correct.
