Charles Ng goes ‘Tron’ with V-LEDs for Las Vegas [SNAPSHOTS]

With the Las Vegas heat playing a huge factor, Round 6 in Vegas is a night event and that subsequently can make things a little harder to see. If you recall in Vegas last year, Charles Ng took to fixing this problem with his Nitto Tire Mazda RX7 which was one of the most visible cars on the grid when he wrapped V-LEDs around the windows and hatch for the event.

Charles Ng is back at it again this year with even more V-LEDs, but this time on the body of the Nitto Tire/Evasive Motorsports Mazda RX7 in what looks like something right out of Tron. We’re all excited to see how this is going to look moving at 100+mph in the Las Vegas night at Formula Drift Round 6, but in the meantime check out this snapshot we found floating around Facebook of the car testing at Sonoma Drift.

Nitto Tire and Studio Mountain take on Seattle [VIDEO]

The guys over at Studio Mountain consistently put out some of the best videos for Nitto Tire and their third installment of the 2011 Formula Drift season is no exception. This video from Round 5 at Evergreen Speedway slows things down from their usual fast paced video, and it follows the Nitto Tire team throughout the event. High production value and killer on-car shots make it a video you don’t want to miss.

Formula Drift Pros invade Adams Drift Night – 7.14.11 [GALLERY]

While capturing another 200+ image grassroots gallery at Adams Motorsports Park last night, we were pleased to find some familiar faces keeping their skills sharp before Formula Drift Round 5. We bumped into Charles Ng and Odi Bakchis as they ripped around Adams Motorsports Park. Charles Ng was behind the wheel of his daily driven Honda S2000 while Odi brought out his competition S14 for a few rounds of tandem action.

Ryan Litteral, winner of the first round of the Adams Drift Series also returned with his AE86. Check out the gallery here: http://www.wreckedmagazine.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=249

2011 All-Star Bash XI at Willow Springs [GALLERY]

The sixth annual All-Star Bash took place over the Independence Day weekend at Streets of Willow. David Moore grabbed his camera and shot his first Wrecked Magazine gallery over the All-Star Bash weekend for us. He captured some Formula Drift pro’s such as Michael Essa, Matt Powers, and Charles Ng shaking down the cars who are all on Nitto Tires. Dennis Mertzanis (unpictured) was also in attendance with his S14.5 making laps on his Kenda Tires. The grid was full of modified S chassis 240’s along with other awesome cars like this Drift Union Lexus SC300. Sit back and enjoy our whole gallery on the 4th!
