Ola Jaeger Set for Formula Drift Pro 2 Debut in Old FD Car

Posted on Feb 10, 2017 In Formula D

Ola Jaeger hails from Norway and has taken Fredric Aasbo’s old MKIV Toyota Supra out of storage and is building it to run the Pro 2 series of Formula Drift. This could be an interesting new addition to the Pro 2 field that has lacked strong competition in years past. It will be interesting to see how quickly he can get the car together before Orlando in just about 75 days from now.

I’m glad to see this being used for something instead of just sitting and collecting dust.

Also do you guys have any news/rumors on any other drivers coming to FD? On Formula Drift’s website they have Takahiro Ueno and Stephen Biagioni listed as eligible drivers for Pro 1, so I’m assuming they have intentions of competing this year.

  2. Justin Yamashiro says:

    @ Cody
Ueno has been trying to come stateside since last year and really trying to commit this year. I know he built an RC-F with a JZ setup though have yet to see any runs with it.
I know the BMW went up for sale to assume help fund said hope to compete.

Cool to see that car coming out again. PRO2 might end up being something worth watching. Maybe even Nate Hamilton will post up a video of him doing a kickflip ollie on his skate board this year.

More news to come! Chucky is repaired/tested, given some TLC – and in good shape!
