Irish Drift Championships wrapped up their series with a packed house at Mondello, which is the most well-known track in Irish drifting history. Duane McKeever rose above the fierce field of competitors to take home not just the first place trophy from the event but the 2016 Irish Drift Championship trophy as well. His closest championship competitor, Jack Shanahan, had mechanical issues in qualifying that left him on the outside of the tandem elimination bracket.
