2013 Formula Drift Rulebook – Qualifying Point Criteria Adjustment

Posted on Feb 12, 2013 In Daijiro Yoshihara Formula D

Another small change made to the 2013 rulebook is the elimination of whole numbers from style, line, and angle categories of drifting. This keeps the scoring system a little less complex moving into 2013. The speed is based from a median of practice speeds in the field during practice. Below is the official release and change notes for the rulebook.

Qualifying criterion points adjustment.
Style, line and angle criteria categories will now be judged using whole numbers. Speed will be the only category that uses 1/10 numbers and will based on a median speed of all the drivers field during practice.

EDIT: It’s the elimination of fractions or decimals from style, line, and angle. They will now only use whole numbers.
