The KSport Nissan 350z driven by Corey Hosford will be managed, transported, and maintained by Chris Forsberg Racing for the 2013 season. Professional stunt driver Corey Hosford plans to gain a competitive edge in the new season by teaming up with the most successful Z driver and team owner in drifting history. This two team program should be pretty interesting with an orange 370z and orange 350z teamed up on the grid with each other who both will be running Hankook Tires to complete the new upcoming season. We here the car is on its way to MA Motorsports/CFR right now for some 2013 preparations. We hear more information will be coming out later this week!
interesting, i thought for sure B wilkerson would be making a return in one of the Z chassis
I’m not sure whether Hosford is a bag of dicks driver or if K-sport is a bag of dicks car builder, but I guess this will settle that either way
@SamuraiSam I think neither is the case.. and that Corey is gonna kill it along with Chris in 2013.
I was hoping for twin 370Z drift cars next season.
I don’t see Wilkerson driving since he is managing the team.
Very interesting.
This makes zero sense. Wonder who’s paying the bill, because it sure isn’t the cheap asses at ksport
Wow didn’t see this happening. Did he even qualify at all for the 2012 season? What also happened to Chris wanting to field both 370z’s?
Yeah he qualified 2 or 3 times last season i believe. Sounds like Chris sees something in him or sees some serious growth! it looks like its going to be pretty awesome! Wish Chris and Corey the best of luck!
Wow elevens really? We see how it is now
Wow K-sport really you guys suck!!!!
Gatta love how people love to hate on good news for a guy…
im blown away by this. seriously cory is a cool guy and im currious to see where this goes. just gotta say not what i expected, but looks like there is going to be one hell of a facial hair contest in the pits next season!
Awesome news !! I hope he does well this year
Congratulations to Corey. He didn’t even come to mind when CFR announced they might run a 2 car team this year. The 1st person who sprung to mind was Ryan Kado.
Well, you have to give it up to Corey for his record setting rookie year….
He qualified 33rd more than anyone else in a single season of formula D history.
GOOD LUCK CFR LOLOLOL
Yea Ryan Kado would have been a excellent choice
It’s a shame to see that people feel the need to try and ruin a good thing for someone. Corey is a talented driver. Teaming up Forsberg makes a lot of business sense, and provides an amazing opportunity for him to learn from the best Z chassis driver in the history of the sport.
Interesting and unexpected news. Big shot for a relitive rookie and with that much knowledge behind his car now there will be nowhere to hide if the performances don’t start to come.
Well done on a great deal, now lets see if you can step up!
Our parents used to own Firebird Raceway. What I lack in driving talent, my parents make up for in money after selling Firebird raceway. I get all the seat time I want at Bondurant. I work when I want to. My parents take care of it. I dont have to grow up. I just have to call someone and tell them to let me drive it and I’ll pay for it. Ksport did not have a team until i funded it. How do you think they let me drive the car when all i did was call them and tell them to let me drive it? Duh.
This should be a good matchup. Corey gains huge knowledge everywhere. Chris is going to be made to have some more fun and bring a new fanbase around the pits.
Corey caught some bad luck this year with being 33rd in qual. But anyone to hate on him is rediculous.. That car was far from competetive and sounds like MA is going to handle that. He has skills and one of the best personalities out there There is no way you can’t have a great time around him and his man Dustin. Some of the most fun, real peoples out there.
Congrats if this all works out. Glad to see someone get a good break. Love you Corey & Dustin
I dont think it was in Chris’ hands at all. I think NOS is gonna make a big move this year, and Cory’s agent pulled the right dick.
Thats how real racing is anyways.
I don’t know either way on this but there’s no reason to think that a driver like Corey wouldn’t be paying his own way. Being on a 2 car team doesn’t necessarily mean free ride.
