The story of Walker Wilkerson’s stolen S13.4 revealed [BLOG]

Posted on Jan 13, 2013 In Formula D Walker Wilkerson

Walker Wilkerson’s car was stolen and later recovered (sans many parts) late last month, but the true behind-the-scenes story of how everything went down is much more tragic. Walker and his girlfriend scoured the streets with the help of friends and family to find the car themselves, and if it wasn’t for their hard work, may not have gotten the car back due to the lack of help from law enforcement. Walked posted up a complete story of how everything unraveled on his blog, check out the full story to find out how it all went down.

On the morning of Christmas Eve, [my girlfriend] Vanessa received a call informing us that the place we had stored my Formula Drift car had been broken into. The commercial steel, key access only gate to the building had been chopped down and the trailer wheel lock had been sawed in half.  The trailer with my car, wheels, tires, race fuel, tools, and ramps inside had all been stolen. Everything in that trailer was top of the line…. and it’s now gone. The perfect gift and just in time for Christmas.

Wow I read the entire story and I have to say that the police in those areas are as much help as a solar powered flash light. Seriously, I know this may sound like a tough guy and all on the internet, but I would have Molotov cocktail bomb their ass and burned that fucking place down with them in it. I know the car is there and would have been destroyed but think of the 10 waste of sperm thieves that would have been gone from this world for good. All and all I am glad you got your car back. May I suggested putting the car in a place that has real cameras and is not so easy to break into with a saw and hammer.

from the story it sounds that if the thieves had put as much effort into a real job as they did into chopping cars they would have had quite a comfortable life. that being said, glad that the car is found. and i hope some of the more unique and easily identifiable parts are returned to the owner in time.
