Rhys Millen is up at Willow Springs testing some new aero on his Hyundai Genesis Coupe, the same car his dad piloted to a record time of 11:04.91 last year. Millen alluded to these details on his interview with Jacob Leveton on the Driftstream in Seattle, but we got the full details from his team today. The car is now sporting a new widebody as well as some new aero tricks to the front of the car to try and break the 11-minute barrier. Unfortunately, Rhys won’t be competing in his crazy unlimited RWD prototype car that he used last year. We’re still cheering for him, especially after the performance he has put on at the last few Formula D events.
Good luck to Rhys!
I love that every year he sends his current drift car up the mountain to prove what serious performance instruments Drift cars can be.
Definitely! I’m looking forward to the gopro videos!
