The rain came down in qualifying and did mange to mix things up a little bit. Towards the end of the second runs the track did clear up allowing the top 10 powerhouse drivers put down relatively dry passes. Here is how they finished on the day:

Why didn’t they let Walker Wilkerson have his second run? He forgot his hood pins so the hood flew up as he accelerated but he stopped and backed up to the line before entry. why not let him go?

If a driver forgot to put on his helmet before a run, realized it after he left the line, and stopped, turned around and expected a re-do? Now wouldn’t you think that would be a little wrong, forgetting hood pins is the responsibility of the team- it’s a safety issue- you don’t have your shit in check, you don’t deserve a re-do.

Anytime. My fiance and I have watched every round on driftstream, participate in the Fantasy Drift(BYRacing, LadyDriftStrike), and we are working on a drift car build together. She knows her stuff when it comes to Formula Drift.
Poor Walkers dad. Pretty sure it is only him touching the car. Just a slip. Must be feeling like poooooop. Windshield had no damage. Wonder if he could of jumped out locked it down and just kept going. Have to look into rules but probabally no allowed.
Poor guy. Yeah that’s not allowed, but I wonder if the Light tree worker could have done it if he saw it.
