Posted on Mar 6, 2012 In Chris Forsberg Formula D Video

After Chris Forsberg moved back East and teamed up with MA – Motorsports a second Nissan 370z was born. Everything on the new car is new including ┬áthe engine which will also be putting out more HP this year to keep up with the bigger budget teams. Cant wait to see this on the track this year. They went with an all new chassis this sesaon and CFR has been in the process of working over all the cars including his M56 drift car that just got a fresh pair of Driveshaft Shop axles.

Casey Crittenden

I first got into drifting around 2006 after finding videos on YouTube. I ended up attending my first drift event in 2007 at Sonoma Raceway and was hooked. Wrecked Magazine offered me a job here in 2010 and since have been a freelance writer, and striving towards my own drift career.

  1. They says:

    Hey builders-
    More ITB’s please.

  2. blaze1 says:

    Where’s the old car?

  3. Casey Crittenden says:

    Right next to it

  4. lifer says:

He flinched. ITB’s look and sound awesome!

  5. dyno video’s coming soon!

  6. Mickey says:

    Looks great guys!

  7. blaze1 says:

I mean why aren’t they using the old car?

This is kinda big for CFR to be releasing this type of info, this time last year we had zero info on the build other then it might be a 370.

    Go CFR

  8. YOitzJDM says:

The last car was a basic build – safety equipment, some adjustable suspension, 2-way rear, and that’s pretty much it.

This one has a lot more fab work and will be lighter, faster, more powerful, and overall a lot more ‘racecar-ish’

kinda like how Gardella built the ‘street’ solstice before building the ‘race’ solstice

  9. lifer says:

I had no idea that it was that basic of a build last year. I was often thinking selling the 350Zvert was a bad idea for him based on now it seemed he was being held back in the 370Z. I understand now what they were doing.

  10. Mike Peters says:

I feel like we could get some more comments if I posted 8 alphanumeric characters in this thread so here we go.

    “KONY 2012”

  11. The new car is amazing. Big props to MA for their meticulous work, and CFR for having such an amazing program year after year.
