Formula Drift Streets of Long Beach Freshly Paved – No More Surface Transitions

Posted on Feb 16, 2012 In Formula D Lifestyle Major Announcements

The big change at Streets of Long Beach this year is some fresh pavement along the parking lot of the track. This eliminates several surface transitions on the track eliminating some of the harder issues that people have driving on this track. In fact, it might even make the track faster all around giving the fans what we all really want to see at the Streets of Long Beach this year. What does everyone think about the new track layout?

I’m assuming by “new track layout” you mean the new tarmac, and not like they are changing the course layout right? It will be different cause the throttle will be pushed with all the new grip. Even with all the racing going on before tha FD event, It will be a huge change in feel for the veteran Long Beach Drifters.
