Xtreme Drift Circuit canceled the March 3rd round at Irwindale Speedway which was just a few weeks around the corner. According to Facebook (no PR was actually sent) they are combining Round 1 with Round 2 at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona. On top of canceling Round 1 they announced they might be adding mid-season events in what sounds like to be a headache and a half for young drivers looking to attend the series and raise funding. Regardless what you really need to know is that XDC will be kicking off in Phoenix after Formula Drift starts this season.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the Irwindale drama.
You seem to be one really bright child, Cody.
hopefully a few people needed a lil longer to get cars and money together. and cody you serious with that shit?
Wonder if they are going to do double payouts for the 1 event, or do a saturday / sunday split like how D1 does things.
I know this has something (more than likely alot) to do with the Irwindale drama. I meant I wonder if that was the main reason or if they ran into other issues or problems.
Of course it is because the track Is closed. Way easier to cancel the event then try and reschedule in a similiar location last minute.
The PHX event sounds like a crazy weekend of fun. Maybe try and make that for some testing.
Someone please buy IRwindale!!!
if we all pitched in, it could be ours.
Drifters should buy Irwindale…
Then it will be the House of Drift.
Seems it has nothing to do with “the drama” after all. Some of you folks should get off your high horse once in a while :-*
can somebody fill me in on irwindale drama plz. i didnt know the track was closed.
