The Scion FR-S has been the biggest buzz of the import car scene in quite some time. Formula Drift announcer Jarod DeAnda went behind the scenes of the commercial shoot and captured all the action from flat black Mercedes SUVS to helicopters with huge cameras on them. Can’t wait for J-rod to promote Scion more than he promotes any other FD sponsor (outside of Exedy) since he’s making money on the side with them…. ugh

He has a wife and kid..If sponsors wanna approach him to promote their product you think he should say “No dudes…I’m keepin real fellas..” Pssst right! If these companies he promotes have the balls to get into the drifting market so what! If it was up to you guys he would be working nights at Mcdonalds to support his family in the name of “Keepin it real”

jrod is also the voice of almost every major drift event in the US and they guy has been appart of the SPORT since day one not to mention a kick ass dude. if you dont like him you should keep it to your self. he has done more for the sport than any of you have so in the name of the sport why not keep that irrelivent shit to your self.

I’m not against J-rod promoting companies… i’m against him giving more publicity to his personal sponsors than the ones who pay FD money to get shout outs.
