I wonder if they are ever going to hold that midwest round that was talked about for a little while.

  2. Rza says:

People in the Midwest have no money… plus nobody cares about them.

Every year, they say that they are gonna cancel Wall but it keeps on coming back… nobody wants to go to NJ and be surrounded by a bunch of Yankees.

  3. bro says:

requesting may and june off at work tomorrow for pro-am qualifying 8-)

  4. Mike peters says:

I thought they were expanding to eight rounds?

    No Tejas :-(

  5. Shawn says:

    steers, queers…no drifting.

  6. Mike Peters says:

Steers and Queers are the least of your worries… I’ll fling something at you and give you the Hep C and buy you a Whataburger afterward.

  7. Rza says:

  8. Russell Walker says:

I like to post as Mike Peters btw.

  9. Shawn says:

    I heard there’s a Formula D / PBR collaboration in the works for 2013

  10. Yo says:

    Midwest for September!

  11. Mike says:

Glad there expanding and growing the series.

  12. hollywood says:

russell you kill me!! there should be either a phoenix or texas is retarded retarded event!!!

  13. steve b. says:

PBR(pabst blue ribbon) official sponsor of Formula D 2013

  14. YoItzJDM says:

I really wish they would have pulled the trigger on Texas. You’d get the normal 25 drivers who do the whole series + 3-5 socal privateers + 3-5 East Coast privateers + 2 or 3 Texas drivers and still hit the 40 driver count that attends at every event.

  15. Mikeyr1 says:

No news on abu dhabi either as that gets announced at SEMA?

  16. definitely was hoping to go to Texas or an FD event this coming season, but we will be there for XDC most likely anyway. excited for the car building to get rolling and see what people are running next year

  17. Metman2PSU says:

Rza, most people in the NJ region spend their time and money to go to Clubloose Events and usually overlook the Formula Drift event due to that.

I’m sure Matt Petty and crew would back me up on the theory that a lot of people would rather drive than watch.

  18. RichG says:

I dont belive there is any lack of attendance at the Wall NJ Event, and I am super stoked to see that venue back once again! That track is a maneater!

  19. Nick says:

Wasn’t this years attendance level at Wall at a record high?

  20. maybe if someone dies from the heat during the FD Vegas event in August they will finally move it to a different month.

  21. Nick says:

    Can’t take the heat BRO??

  22. Buckey Laing says:

lol @ dennis it’s not hot enough unless dudes are puking on grid mid day!

FD Vegas better be on the actual LVMS road course this year. drifting in parking lots suck 100mph entry or not.

  23. kp says:

the midwest has some stuff. but they never drift near here..or know what it fully is. almost a waste to come out here. I love drifting but why waste it on someone who thinks drifting is a civic with an ebrake on snow or dirt?

  24. Angel says:

They need to bring a show over to the Virginia Area.

  25. Roberto says:

Formula D should come to Denver colorado

  26. vnl says:

@RZA: Youre a dumb fuck dude, the midwest had no money? You ever heard of Junkhouse? Grip Gamblers? I suggest you look those drift crews up before you start to talk out of your ass again. AND I probably have more money now than you’ll ever have.

  27. Rikerbeard says:

Midwest has come up significantly since JDMC flashed on. Drifters have a great means of communicating and are actually having drift days only 10 miles from Downtown Chicago. The Midwest drift scene is definitely on the map. Automass @ Toyota Park on April 29th. 15 minutes from Midway Airport and surrounded by affordable Motels. Come out.

  28. KarlJDM says:

@VNL bro, no one cares about the midwest obviously. Even if ppl heard about those crews you really think they can bring a crowd big enough and worth going to? Highly doubt it, cuz midwestern folk rather save up and buy a truck. So don’t come out actin all hard, cuz that still wouldn’t bring the midwest to light! Plus why would you name your crew “junkhouse”? Oh yeah… They drive junk.. -_-
