Clubloose Invades New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) Before An Air Show [GALLERY]

Once again our top east coast reported Dan Jenkins went out to New Jersey to cover the guys over at Clubloose having a great old time. This event was the first time they were able to slide on New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP). The drifting took place before a Memorial Day Air Show for the crowds. Another great job by the Clubloose boys and the local northeastern drifting scene. Ryan Tuerck and Tony Angelo showed up in missile cars to go sliding for the weekend as well.

X-Games 17 Rally on the Streets of Downtown Los Angeles

In the hunt for the perfect venue they have settled on the roads of downtown Los Angeles outside the Staples Center. The FB of X-Games posted this drawing which shows off the course layout potential/concept they have going right now.

They also noted that the big jump will still be happening. The drivers list currently features Rhys Millen and former driver Tanner Foust on the drivers list. So far no apperance from Sam Hubinette, Stephan Verdier, or ACP on the list at the moment but hopefully Sam will be showing up again because we had a blast watching him in action last year.

Sam Hubinette Takes Home Pro Light Truck Win in TORC Event

Sam Hubinette hopped in this Pro Light Dodge Ram over the Memorial Day weekend in Michigan to race in his first ever TORC (The Off-Road Championship) and the #77 Dodge took home a victory in his first ever outing for the series. The photo above shows Sam Hubinette getting some ridiculous air time in the Dodge as he came off the start line and instantly fought his way to the front of the pack and then never looked back. Here is what Sam had to say about the weekend:

“This weekend couldn’t have gone any better,” said Hübinette, a superstar in the world of drifting, who has now scored wins in his first two career TORC starts. “The Traxxas Racing and Jenkins Brothers Racing team provided an amazing package, a great Ram Truck with an awesome Mopar engine and BFGoodrich Tires to help hook up all that power on the muddy, challenging track.

Formula Drift Cars Loading up for Texas IRL Demo [SNAPSHOTS]

We caught up with a handful of drivers this weekend as they prepared their cars to hit the road and make their way to Texas Motor Speedway for the Ultimate Drifting Demo on June 11th. On hand was Fredric Aasbo returning in his old competition Japan Auto Supra, Joon Maeng in his S13, Pat Mordaunt’s S14, Jeff Abbott’s Miata, Charles Ng in his Evasive Motorsports FC RX7, and Roland Gallagher in his teal S13.

Tanner Foust is the Hot Wheels Stunt Driver at the Indy 500

Today at the Indianapolis 500 the diecast car brand Hot Wheels set to break world records by building these insane contraptions that resemble Hot Wheels toys you can purchase at the store. The world record distance jump of 332 feet was completed just a minute ago before the Indy 500 kicks off. The old record was 301 feet so Tanner is easily has defeated that with his successful jump this morning. We are being told by one of the people who watched the jump happen that it is suppose to be aired right after the Indy 500 is over. Congrats to the former Formula Drift champion out having fun at The Brickyard.
