Well after the buzz started to get going about a Redbull World Championship in Atlanta, Georgia this winter it appears the event has been put on hold or standby. Redbull/Formula Drift has sent a note to vendors and other people stating that while Redbull continues to love and support the sport of drifting things couldn’t be put together in time to make this event a reality. I put some paraphrasing to the note that was forwarded to me but that is basically the idea/concept of the letter. Hopefully Redbull can step up in 2011 and throw an event for all the drifting fans here in the United States. We will keep you updated if we hear anything else on this story.
