Taka Aono Update – Recovering Great from Surgery

To give everyone an update on Taka Aono he did have surgery on his leg and is said to be doing great. I know many people have shown concern about him recently since his injury at Formula Drift Seattle. No word on if he will be able to attend FD Las Vegas or any other events for the 2010 season but I am sure he will take to his Team blog soon and update us once he is back up on his feet.
get well soon Taka… your a awesome driver hope to see you back out there soon.
Does anyone know if he has good medical insurance? If not, perhaps we could start donations to help out with those medical bills.

Isnt he a chiropractor? Im sure hes got health insurance but that is a great idea.

FD has insurance as well
The coverage provided under the Participant Accident Coverage is as follows:
Accidental Death $ 25,000
Accidental Dismemberment $ 10,000
Excess Accident Medical Benefit $ 25,000
Accident Total Disability $ 100 (weekly for up to 104 weeks after 7 days.)
But I’m pretty sure Taka is doing juuuust fine
I got word from Yoshie that Taka will most likely be released from the Hospital tonight. He had a rough day yesterday from severe pain but he is still continuing to recover well.
The bone now has a a few metal pins so he might a tough time going through metal detectors..
anybody know where we can see the footage
