The finals against Ryan Tuerck and Tanner Foust were amazing until Ryan Tuerck smashed into the bank wall. Then we got to see a mangled and damaged Pontiac Solstice which was amazing in a whole different way. These ten snapshots tell the story of how Ryan Tuerck secured second place and somehow drove his hoover craft/Solstice with those front wheels smashed in that manner.

So will this car be back or is it scrap metal? ‘Hey Angerman, I need to borrow your solstice for the rest of the year’
this car, from what i’ve seen in photos, is like a tube chassis car. they will just cut off whatever is bent and weld new stuff in. thay should have this thing back in no time.
I noticed looking thru the gallery of this sequence. That tanner has his windshield brake light on. Right before ryan starts sliding back into the wall.
evergreen claims another dai fell victim to it last year taka has a bone that was snapped in half and now hampshaa damn this track is a monster and no one is safe it takes no prisoners and mike is right it will be back in no time new coilovers, control arms, bondo and paint she will be good as new
looks so much better crashed!
Why cause its hella flush?
Gardella has their act together and knows how to build cars.
This’ll be back together pretty quick and done right.
@Observant: You can’t always call a brake check. Maybe Tanner was hard-charging the finals and came in a little too hot? Besides, Ryan’s car is way more than capable enough to adjust with braking cause it’s so light, this could probably just be an off moment; every one has them.
Like you said, “Right before ryan starts sliding back into the wall.”
…wouldn’t that mean Ryan might be carrying too much speed, as well? As much as I like Ryan’s driving, maybe this is his own error?
Everyone was e-braking or left-footing it at the exit of the bank. Takatori vs Petty crashed there, Takatori vs McQuarrie ended in a crash, Eric O’Sullivan vs Forsberg ended in a crash, etc…
the tactics are getting to be awfully brutal in FD.
They’ll be back asap with that car. and if not they have another solstice ready to go
UPDATE: car was fixed before it was loaded on the trailer! and……..it’ll have a V8 in it for the next event
Isn’t there already a V8 in that other kids car?
yes Big Time, Steve Angryman’s car has one yes
oh so tuerck is driving that car…is that even FD ready?
Gardella also has a few “parts” cars in Jersey.
