The second driver running Formula Drift under EA Games this season we are told will be Matt Powers. Like we said earlier they are a publicly traded entity on the NASDAQ: ERTS which own the Need for Speed game series and the website Speedhunters. Last month we also reported he picked up tire sponsorship with Nitto Tires. Looks like a great season is ahead for this privateer.

Congrats to Matt, he definatly deserves this.
huge congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new livery is sure to be sexy!
uh oh. half of the fans of Speedhunters might be fapping furiously over the endless coverage of madd mike and matt powers to come. and the other half is left perplexed because powers has sponsors now. oh noes.
Is he still technically a privateer now? I mean, he’s signing onto a team now.
[...] power in his KA motor and kept his car as low as possible. I love the highlighter yellow wheels and cannot wait to see what his Need for Speed wrap will look like once it gets put on. The car is looking pretty solid and he didn’t get crazy changing stuff [...]
How about the Xgames? Anyone experience the crash by Paris Rosen Friday? Apparently the announcers are reporting that he is moving all his limbs. Everyone thought he broke his neck. Go check it out on youtube. He didn’t start the flip soon enough. It for sure looked like he was finished.
