Tanner Foust Drifts Mulholland – FULL VIDEO
Tanner Foust is one of the most well known drivers in the sport and he always seems to be up to something these days. This time it appears he took out his Scion Racing tC powered by a NASCAR V8 and destroyed the asphalt in Malibu, California. A two mile stretch of pavement in the California hills probably won’t ever be the same. Stay tuned to KTLA or your local news in case somebody in a Honda Civic attempts a copy cat run.

meh, Tuerck’s vid was much better. The sound of that V8 just doesn’t do it for me…
Cool concept, great driving, poor production.
I think a lot of people just got ideas…
WOW! What a bunch of haters, that video was awesome. Oh it wasn’t a DA member so thats why it sucked i guess.
Who said it sucked RACERX?
Regardless of who was driving in the video the production was weak. No one said anything negative towards Tanner or the concept. Calm down.
Driving = awesome
Concept = awesome
And the video still sucks, How does that happen?
some of that footage looked like it was off of a webcam or someone’s camera phone.
And I saw several frames with cars from the crew in the background. That’s pretty sloppy production if you ask me…
need more drift alliance vids, this sucks!
Something tells me (I don’t actually know, obviously) that they spent their load on the helicopter and high speed camera and that the camera people and editors were just friends of friends or something silly like that? There’s something to be said for the fact that they shot it all in one go (which is not the way the Block vid was shot…and as far as I can tell, the Tuerck vid also wasn’t shot that way)…no matter what, if cameras are not properly lined up through a switcher, there’s gonna be little miniscule differences between the quality of shots and all that. Still, the mounted cameras looked like GoPro footage almost, and there were times when the actual camera guys were shakin’ like a heroin addict who’s been off the smack for a few weeks… with all that being said, you gotta give em props where props are due for doing it all in one shot. Believe it or not, that’s a lot more difficult than it looks, both from a production side and a driver’s side. I can’t wait till the drivers in my crew can slang a road like that on command with no practice, no spinouts, no botcheries, or crashes. (((That doesn’t discount that they MAY have cheated, but we have no way of knowing. That’d be a cheap trick though!!))) As everybody says, wicked concept, wicked driving, but considering the budget it coulda definitely used some polish.
there was like 1 minute in the beginning with 0 drifting…
1/4 of the fucking video
Now this is mountain road drifting at its finest!!

this vid makes my blood boil!
that vid was friggin AWESOME, who cares if you can see a cameracrew.
that is wayy cooler than anything anyone posting on this blog will ever do.
dude can drive his ass off! fuck the production! his driving makes up for it twice over!
driving was a bit conservative but not a big deal. the video just lacked something. some “Climb Attack” and “Gymkhana” shots in there but nothing to really draw the viewer in.
