Joon Maeng Testing First Time Mazda Rx-8
Some video footage was located of Joon Maeng drifting it up in the Full Tilt Poker Mazda Rx-8. He is looking pretty good for his first time in this car. I spoke with him last night at a Mazda event where he told me the biggest difference in this car and his 240sx is the throttle modulation. When he could be driving his 240sx flat out the Rx-8 is more like 30% throttle. Sounds like quite the adjustment but he seems to be handling it well.

Edwin, the car had almost zero mechanical issues last year.
This thing is making 600hp, there is no SR20 in FD that ever had 600hp or anything close to it while being reliable
Yeap yeap, this car looks pretty powerful and there is not shortage of smoke for sure. I really would like to do a 3 rotor turbo soon. Not to many guys can pull up to the quickie mart and top you when you have that setup.
