Sam Hubinette Sponsor Update/Correction for 2010

In our earlier post we titled the story “Sam Hubinette back with MOPAR in 2010 [RUMORMILL]“and we were kindly corrected by the people at Dodge. While under the same blanket the team will not be getting sponsorship from MOPAR but the sponsorship will be coming from Dodge Motorsports directly. It looks like we should see some new wraps for the 2010 season.
whats the diference exactly?
I’d like to think they could do no worse with the vinyl schemes but I bet they will astound me.
Whatever the new wrap looks like it’ll be most certainly have the main colors be red, silver and/or black. Dodge can’t really use the ram head logo anymore since RAM (trucks and vans) seperated into its own brand not to long ago. This better mean the Challenger is finally going to slide in competition.
Please stop the [RUMORMILL] posts.

Just an FYI for you all.. If Sam does come out with a challenger it will not be the one that NUFORMZ built which is the one pictured above… If the viper show’s it is Sam’s viper not NUFORMZ’s…
@Crazy Eight how do you know that if he has a Challenger it wont be the same one? It doesn’t make a lot of sense for them to build another one from scratch when they can buy the NuFormz car.

Actually, the Nuformz car was deemed illegal by Formula D, and it will never compete in the series. Samuel had it inspected by them prior to buying it. Good thing he did.
@checkyourfacts That doesn’t seem to add up either. Throughout the course of the build the NuFormz team constantly had Formula D officials in their shop to ensure that everything they were doing was in line with the rulebook and they made statements that the car was totally legal.
Given that no further work has been done on the car since Shaun Carlson’s untimely and unfortunate passing I don’t see how the car would suddenly be illegal for competition unless there was some type of major rule change between the time the car was completed and now.
Is that the case?
well the car was never deemed illegal but i am sure that there were rule changes that need to be implemented on the car. If you know what made it illegal then what was it.
