BMI Racing and Rookie Charles Ng Bring 4 Rotor Rx-8 to Formula Drift
Posted by Wrecked Magazine on 18 Feb 2010 at 09:29 pm | Tagged as: Formula D, Major Announcements

It looks like you can add another Mazda Rx-8 into the mix for the 2010 Formula D season. It was announced that the BMI Racing famous four rotor Rx-8 is going to take a stab at drifting. Assuming they can get this car setup right Charles Ng could have a really good shot at Rookie of the Year. I am curious to see what sponsors they will be able to retain like BFGoodrich as they move into drifting. It will be interesting to see how they do moving forward into 2010…..Thanks for tip we got from the SPEC Clutch Facecbook Page of this story and the Formula Drift deal for the new season.

To make such a strong accusation to the article, it would mean something if you put your real name to it.
While we are not a big budget team, everything is done in house including all fabrication, electrical work, and tuning, and we do not need to wait on other people to build/fabricate parts for us. We are extremely thankful for the support we have from our sponsors and our friends and family that are behind our endeavors every step of the way. If this was an easy task, everyone would have a 4 rotor.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank those that support us, and we look forward to competing in the Formula Drift this season.

I Absolutely recognize what your position in this topic is. While I might disagree on several of the smaller aspects, I feel you did a remarkable job explaining it. Certainly beats needing to research it on my own. Appreciate it.
