Linbergh Nguyen shot Vaughn Gittin’s mastermind creation the 2010 Mustang RTR-C. This isn’t a 3m Super Tac vinyl wrap but a full carbon fiber conversion of the 2010 Mustang. It operates and feels like a stock OEM car but has taken a huge diet with some serious horsepower. If your an oil sheik or just a guy from Kansas who won the lottery then this ride is for you. Nice work to Vaughn Gittin Jr. making his vision come to life.

The Bergenholtz held a press conference today to announce a new driver for 2010.  Joon Maeng will be driving under the Mazda and Nitto Tire banner for 2010. This announcement comes with great excitement at the press conference today. Do you think this new program will finish better than 9th place in 2010?

Victor Moore 2010 Driver Preview Video by Running Projects

Victor Moore has ripped onto the scene as one of the northwest’s most promising drifters. He looked great during Pro Am and even has an interview in our current issue of Wrecked Magazine. Running Projects dropped this great video with interview on how Victor plans to take on Formula Drift in 2010.

Today it was announced that Fatlace is taking over the official car show  duties for Formula Drift 2010. It looks like the Jtuned Auto is officially no more. The show series is called One of One and will come to all seven events in 2010. The PR claims they will have categories covering all classes while also including Ruckus at some venues. Details will available soon for registration and other things of that nature. I have never really paid attention to the show cars sitting around at Formula D but I think it’s safe to say they cannot do worse than the previous years of car shows held at Formula D events. I think bringing in Fatlace for this is the right move.

According to a promotional video released by Megan Racing on YouTube it appears they will have two drivers running the full 2010 Formula D season under the Megan Racing banner. Cyrus Martinez who licensed up at the 2009 Pro Am will be running this S13 above along with Taka Aono. Taka will be runing his AE86 perhaps or maybe the Megan Racing Nissan 350z? Glad to see a new team pushing in for a full 2010 season campaign.

Vegas Drift 16 – Driver’s Delight by Robert Strohmeyer

Another great piece from the Vegas Drift camp which highlights the activities around the Vegas Drift 16 event at the Bullring lot. They visit Garage Vegas where the pre event tech inspection took place and some skateboarding. The best shots in this video are these slow moving ones by the clipping points which really shows a great perspective to see drifting.

This poor gold S13 got smashed into pieces twice at Irwindale Speedway this year. One of those was at the 2009 Formula D Pro Am Finals which you can see here that he smashed it really damn good. From some forum buzz and a tip from a San Diego local we have heard that Tommy purchased Henry Schelly’s old Formula Drift chassis. Henry campaigned in the 2008 season for a good bit and even attended the international demo down in Monterrey, Mexico. The car is apparently in Tommy Roberts hands now and he is prepping it for the 2010 season. Here is what the car looked like when Henry was still running it in Formula Drift.

So the Autoweek Car Pack had some decent cars but the 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is available in the pack which with the help of Saleen bumpers is easily made into a 2010 Falken Tire Ford Mustang drift machine. I recommend  throwing a stock car motor in the thing and tune the suspension/transmission away to your liking. This car wrap is available in “CobraTuner“  storefront for under 10,000 credits!

The Santa Monica Airport Hanger release 2010 Mustang he drifted around is also available in the same storefront for a little more virtual cash. Justin Pawlak – Interview/Strip Tease on Too Much Panama

JTP brought his FC Mazda Rx-7 out to Panama and was hit with an interview by TooMuchPanama.com during his stay. The ladies conducting his interview convinced Justin Pawlak to even give all the ladies watching (including themselves) a strip tease you don’t want to miss or might want to miss rather. He will be driving this very car featured now for 2010 Formula Drift after the recent announcements with him and the Bergenholtz Team which has been headlining this week. We have some other drivers who conducted the same interviews which will be coming soon!
