Vaughn Gittin Jr. – It’s Time for a Call Out!

I am not sure if you have seen a promotion that Ford and Need for Speed SHIFT have been putting on but they strapped four video gamers into Need for Speed SHIFT with a 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 at Horse Thief Mile and compared their video game times to real world times. None of the kids could do it of course but then I wondered if it could be done at all.
So I am calling out Vaughn Gittin Jr. out on behalf of all our fans at Wrecked Magazine to a Need for Speed SHIFT challenge of my own. I want to run the same track in Xbox 360 with the famed Shelby GT500 at Horse Thief and see if Vaughn Gittin Jr. can beat my time!
Now please link this around and cause a buzz so we can make this happen. Leave a post in the comments if you love America as well. I wish to put my video gaming skills to a true real life challenge already! Let’s do this Vaughn Gittin Jr., I await your reply. My right thumb versus your right foot per say.

Oh hmmmm, I am not sure how good Joey is at video games but I know Vaughn can drive, so my money is on him. Who do we need to e-mail/write too make this happen at Ford and NFS?

I got $25.00 on Wrecked Magazine winning this one. Will they be using a controller or a racing simulator, we need the details.
vaughn is a drifter, not a dragster. this idea is stupid. if you want to challenge him to a video game drift vs real drift, id be down for that, and hed kick your ass

What does being a dragster have to do with anything? Who is talking about drag racing idiot?
They are challenging Vaughn to racing in real life. Vaughn is a racer, how is he not qualified to race? We are talking about road racing, I am pretty sure Vaughn is quite qualified.
JR can drive in both drift and grip, I’ve personally seen him win a time attack in a nearly stock spec mustang before, he can definitely get around on a track fast as well as sideways.

NFSS is lame sauce!! duel out in forza 3 at least the physics are decent. Sorry Vaughn but that game should not have your name anywhere associated with it! or rename it to “need for speed shift to another game that doesn’t try to sell itself as a simulation game then change the cars completely like there driving on ice in drift mode squad”
