The Big 3 Will Be in Formula Drift for 2010 [RUMORMILL]

The Big 3 your thinking of are already sliding around in drifting but this is the new Big 3, the energy drink three. The biggest buzz at the 2009 SEMA show is the entry of the second largest energy drink into drifting. While they have no driver they have been taking lots of meetings. I would love to see them come on board next year with a team/driver and really bring the excitement level up in drift.
They need to join Redbull and Rockstar out in the drifting field for 2010. If they market and activate in drift like they do in power sports they will dominate the sport in no time. I met some staff on the Gumball 3000 and they were just great people. Now we just have to sit around and wait to see if it gets leaked to who will be driving for them in 2010.

Dean Kearney? As he is sponsored by them in Prodrift?
Sam Hubinette!!!!!!!
You haven’t heard? They pick up Matt Power.
Casper Canul Should be the Choice, man has skills and proven track record.
Sam makes a lot of sense.
They should pick up JR, that falken car seemingly has a LOT of real estate for sale and would look sinister with RTR package, and black/green…speaking of black/green mustangs…two of them could be cool.
my vote, they come in big, pick up jr/sam
What about nos? They are a big energy drink too.
Joey doesn’t like NOS. He says it tastes like mansalad. whatever that means.
they should grab JTP
u know whos got BIG real estate left on their car? Joon and Turek.
i thought about that, but monster has a really cool chance to make/grab an image right here, JTP would be a great pickup, he drives crazy ballsy and precise. they need people who make a smokeshow and drive super agressive, i think monster i think crazy.
ken block needs to dorifto, and blow up irwindale
I wonder how many drivers they will have. I heard some of the drivers who are monster-backed abroad may be over here, but I also suspect they’d look for a top-tier driver who’s already here.
BEEEERRRRGGGGEEEEENNNNNNHOOOOOOOOLLLLTTTTzzzz!!!!!!!!!!
IMO here’s who Monster should pick up:
Matt Powers
Joon Maeng
Sam Hubinette – with the Challenger
JTP
Ken Block if he wasn’t going to WRC
Facts: Matt Powers has a green car. One half of Monsters colorway is green. Energy and Power are synonymous with each other.
Coincidence? I think not, give this kid a chance.
^^^agree, Andrew is %100 correct
@Black Knight
NOS is a very large brand but if you research the BevNet numbers they are just under 2% of total market share and not part of the big three.
They have listed the 2006 numbers to 2008 and you can see that NOS has come strong to the market. Looks like at end of 2008 they were 7th.
